We had the good fortune of connecting with Gary Walker and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gary, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Unrelenting determination and perseverance with the belief we will achieve what we set out to do. This belief comes at a cost that most aren’t willing to face or overcome.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
In the early days when I first moved out to Colorado I spent the first 6 months on a friends couch working for a cannabis technology company working long hours as an R&D facility manger. This time allowed me to sharpen my skills and experience what the industry was really like and the difficulty navigating what I wanted to do and what I had to do to get where I eventually wanted to be.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would divide the time between downtown Denver and the surrounding mountains. Denver really has the best of both worlds. Great food and incredible outdoor scenery and activities.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Jason Sirotin. Jason and I set out on a voyage across the country of breaking into the cannabis industry. Through all the trials and tribulations we have stayed steadfast in our commitment and dedication to our friendship. He’s loyal, honest and committed to our partnership in fairness and generosity.
