Hi Gboyega, what are you inspired by?
I am inspired by the passion and execution of entrepreneurs. One of the things I love most about interviewing the range of business owners and entrepreneurs for the Be Helpful Podcast is being energized after every conversation. The paring of genuine love for something and the successful execution of a business plan or strategy is truly inspiring to me, and it motivates me in my own businesses.

What should our readers know about your business?
After over a decade working in the Technology Business Management (TBM) space, I reached a pivotal moment where I felt compelled to channel my expertise, claw back autonomy of my time, and do something more impactful. It was then that I made the decision to embark on the entrepreneurial path, founding both Yencil, my startup serving independent knowledge professionals, and Falconbridge, my consulting business where I aim to fill a crucial gap in the market by offering specialized support to technology organizations and professional services in navigating the complexities of TBM.

While my entrepreneurial journey has an emotional rollercoaster, the experience of starting and hosting The Be Helpful Podcast has been pivotal. The platform has been more than just a medium for interviews—it’s been a beacon of insight, connection, and growth. Engaging in conversations with fellow entrepreneurs and fostering connections within our expanding community has provided invaluable insights and support, enriching my journey as an entrepreneur in profound ways.

Through the interviews, conversations, and connections forged as a result of the podcast, I’ve gleaned invaluable lessons that have not only shaped my business strategy but also profoundly influenced my personal philosophy. I’ve learned firsthand the importance of adaptability, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to my vision. In moments of uncertainty and challenge, these lessons have been guiding lights, empowering me to navigate obstacles with resilience and determination.

Through all my endeavors, my mission to empower professionals like myself to extend the reach and impact of their expertise beyond the confines of their current roles became clear.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family. As the youngest of 4, I learned at an early age that you can find effective and efficient paths to achievement by observing others. I am so grateful for my parents and siblings because they were the reference models that I used growing up, and that has shaped a lot of who I am today. My wife has broadened my perspective on empathy, compassion, communication, and life, more broadly. My two year old son put the fire under me to get uncomfortable and pursue entrepreneurship full-time. Whatever accolades and accomplishments I get, they truly can be attributed to the people that consistently pour confidence, encouragement, and tough love into me.
