We had the good fortune of connecting with Irina Tamaraova Karen Cohen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Irina Tamaraova, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
America has always been a land of opportunity, which is one reason our families immigrated here. Coming from outside of this country, our families fought very hard to be here, so we have a deep, profound love for where we are and being able to get the opportunity to do the things we love to do.

Our families fought very hard to come to this country. They came here for opportunities and a better life, and because of that, we feel a deep responsibility to work hard and continue to succeed. This country has given us so much, and for that, we are grateful. We have created businesses, provided great jobs, bought houses, and provide for our families. We want to give back to this country by continuing to succeed. We want to show our children that anything is possible if you work hard. We are proud of our heritage and where we come from. We are also proud to be Americans and want to continue to make this country great.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Happy Hemp CBD is a business that specializes in the distribution of CBD products. Since Happy Hemp first opened their doors, they have shipped over half a million products to customers nationally. Karen and Irina are both fans of brunch on the ocean. There is a great little spot near our office in Dania called Tiki Tiki, they have the best oysters and shrimp in the area. Great crispy drinks with a delicious lunch while watching boats pass by on the Intracoastal – really, there is nothing better. The two of us agree that it is the perfect way to spend a leisurely weekend morning or even to break up a stressful day for a quick lunch. We love people-watching and soaking up the sun while enjoying a fabulous meal. If you are ever in the area, definitely check out Tiki Tiki – you won’t be disappointed!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We want to express our gratitude to our families and teachers who have always been there for us, guiding us to make the right choices and become better people. They have instilled in us the importance of always doing what is right, even when it is difficult, and taught us how to stand up for what we believe in. Because of them, we are the people we are today – strong, principled, and ready to face whatever challenges come our way. We are deeply indebted to our families and teachers for their constant love and support, and we will always cherish the lessons they have taught us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
