We had the good fortune of connecting with J Mac and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi J, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I started the Wealthful Adventures series to give kids a head start in business & investing. The fact I went tens of thousands of dollars in debt to obtain a bachelor’s degree and was never taught the basics of financial literacy in school didn’t sit well with me. I decided to give kids exposure to these types of lessons early. I believe this will increase their chance of future success in business & investing.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Wealthful Adventures series was created to inspire mental & financial freedom for kids & even the parents reading to children. These books teach lessons that traditional education often fails to acknowledge.

I’m most proud of my ability to bring a product to the market that is an investment for future generations. I’ve succeeded and failed in other business endeavors & I’ve implemented those lessons into the creation of these books. Lessons like recognizing the investment in yourself (your knowledge, mental/ physical health, etc) as the most important investment of all. Reading this series will help others avoid some of the mistakes I’ve made on my journey.

The financial gap between those with and without wealth is growing daily and I believe these books can provide tools to redistribute that wealth.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I rarely eat out so we’d be cooking at the house. A few things that we’d have to do are go hiking if the weather’s nice, get in a photoshoot with A JetLyfe Production, & check-in with 4evadoe vtg to pick up some dope vintage gear.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shoutout my parents and the rest of my family for the support, love, and opportunities they’ve always provided.
