We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business started when I was really young, actually. At the age of 8, I started my own lemonade stand on my street growing up in Castle Rock, Colorado. I first started at ten cents a cup and raised it to fifty cents when I got more customers. I made quite a bit of money, especially at such a young age. Since then, I’ve always had a hustler-mentality and stayed persistent. I’ve expanded my skills, and I now own my own merchandise store as well as a renowned music brand, by the name of, “King Kobra”.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I produce and DJ Bass Music. I mostly play Dubstep, Riddim, and EDM within my sets. I came up with the alias name, “King Kobra” back in 2018 because I love snakes and reptiles in general. My music is also as venomous as my alias name is. I am on most music platforms such as: iTunes, YouTube, Spotify, Soundcloud, Tidal, Audius, and other major streaming platforms. Not only do I make music, but I also own my very own official merchandise online store. My logo is on my merchandise reflecting my art as well as my music. It represents the unique brand that I personally created. It was not easy setting anything up and took many years of researching as well as practicing. In total, I’ve probably spent over ten years from starting. As they say, “Nothing good, comes easy”. Lots of dedication, hard-work, and patience is what success is made of. I AM NEVER GIVING UP!

Please feel free to listen to any of my music and see my merchandise at:

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Denver, Colorado is known as the “Bass Capitol”. Red Rocks is an amazing amphitheater and park, as well as an awesome venue! The sound design is made out of all-natural red rock formation that was here for millions of years! Not only is it a venue, but a park as well. During the weekdays, even weekends, you can find tons of Coloradans scaling up and down the sets of stairs that the amphitheater has. Enjoy the scenery as well as the view of the whole town of Denver from Golden, Colorado. There are tons of five-star bars, restaurants and hotels in Downtown Denver, as well. Music venues such as: The Bluebird, Larimer Lounge, The Roxy Theatre, Cervantes: The Other Side, Your Mom’s House, The Black Box, and Oscar Blues are a few to list. Denver is the heart of Colorado, filled with lots of culture and love. GO EXPLORE!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a HUGE shout-out to my family, specifically my brother, Nikita Kuznetsov. Without him, I wouldn’t be where I’m at on my journey of being a musician as well as an entrepreneur! THANK YOU BRO! He taught me tons about production as well as bringing out my creativity within my craft. Also, I would like to give a shout-out to my amazing mother, Albina Allen. Without her, I wouldn’t even exist! So, THANK YOU MOM! She has raised me mostly throughout my life. She has always been there for me during difficult times and helped shape me as a whole individual. I learned a lot from her. She is such a strong, tough, wise, beautiful and independent woman. Thanks again, Mom. Love you all!
