Meet Jason Kane | Entrepreneur & Financial Services Associate

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Kane and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was at a music event back in July of 2021 and when looking at the event details I noticed the clear bag policy the venue was implementing. They were requiring all clear bags however they made an exception for hydration packs since there was none readily available at the time. I didn’t think anything of it at the moment and went on to enjoy the event with my standard hydration pack in tow. A couple of days later, I had that “A-Ha” moment. I did some research into clear hydration packs and saw that there were really none readily available on the market. Some further research led me to believe this was a need that I would be able to fill. The demand would already be there since many places already require clear bags, someone just needed to meet it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Outside ClearedM I am a Financial Service Associate for High Net Worth clients at a local firm. I graduated from the W.P. Carey School of Business with a degree in Finance and have been pursuing a career in that industry since. In my role, I’ve learned it’s all about the customers. Always making sure their needs are being met with the best service possible. This is one of the main idea I’ve been able to take from my professional career and apply to my own business. I wanted to create a brand that not only sells a product but enhances the customers experience at entertainment events. I get the most satisfaction helping a client reach their financial goals as well as seeing someone sporting my product. Both give me pride knowing I am doing something to help make their lives a little easier whether it be saving for retirement or keeping hydrated at an event.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Here in Phoenix, Arizona it’s all about getting outside. With over 300 days of sunshine a year you can never go wrong with a day on the golf course or a hike. If I had a friend in town, a day would definitely be spent doing one of these activities. Aside from that we would probably spend a day in downtown Phoenix to catch a Suns or Diamondbacks game and then hangout at some of the local bars and breweries that are always a good time. Some time would also be spent doing some shopping. Old Town Scottsdale has a lot of great boutique stores along with the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall right down the street. Aside from that some pool time would definitely be on the itinerary as you can never get enough of that

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are a lot of people who deserve a Shoutout for helping me get to where I am today. First and foremost is my family, who were my earliest supporters and the ones I could rely on for advice when I first started out. My Dad is respectable businessman so he had a lot of great insight into starting a company and what would be needed. My girlfriend has also been a huge supporter and been right by my side through all the ups and downs, always staying optimistic throughout. Lastly, I’d like to shoutout all my incredible friends who have been the ones promoting the brand on social media and even wearing the hydration packs to events. Without their early support things would be the same
