Meet Jeanne Pucci | Stager and Interior Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeanne Pucci and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jeanne, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I began my career in the staging business in Denver, working for over 15 years while relying on rented furnishings from a local supplier. During that time, my husband—whose career in high-tech was beginning to wind down—was always my sounding board. I often shared my frustrations about the challenges of growing my business without direct access to my own inventory.
When he retired, we took a leap of faith and made a major investment, purchasing a substantial amount of furnishings and renting multiple storage units to house our growing collection. What started as a necessity soon became the foundation of something much bigger. Over time, we expanded our operations, and today, we proudly manage a 18,000-square-foot warehouse stocked with an extensive inventory of furnishings. This journey has been one of vision, perseverance, and strategic growth—turning a challenge into a thriving business.

What should our readers know about your business?
My journey into home staging began long before the industry was widely recognized. While living in Palo Alto, California, and raising my children, I wanted a flexible career that allowed me to work part-time. I started by helping friends and acquaintances transform their homes, and soon, a local realtor asked me to stage every home she listed. Word quickly spread, and before I knew it, I was working full-time, renting furniture from every available source to meet the growing demand.
Years later, my family moved back to Denver, where I continued to thrive, working with a top realtor at Kentwood Real Estate in the Cherry Creek office. One of my proudest moments came early on when she entrusted me with reimagining the model homes at the Ritz-Carlton Residences. Sales skyrocketed—from just one unit sold in six years to 22 units in only 11 months. That single project solidified my place in the Denver market, and from then on, my business flourished entirely through word of mouth.
During those years, I was still renting furniture, but I had begun investing in my own art, accessories, and rugs—elements that helped create a unique and high-end feel. As demand increased, pulling together the perfect selections became more challenging, and with my husband’s encouragement, I took a bold step forward. We decided to go all in—securing our own warehouse and assembling a dedicated team to support our growing business.
People often ask what sets me apart. The answer is simple: I care. Every project is personal to me, and I go far beyond the basics of staging. I carefully curate each space, layering textures and selecting furnishings that elevate the home’s aesthetic. My styling is not only cohesive and on-trend but tailored to ensure every property has its own distinct personality. I know I’ve truly succeeded when homeowners hesitate to move—or when buyers want to purchase the home fully furnished!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
In my earlier days, I was a Vail Hostess for several years. So, when anyone comes to visit me and Colorado, I always take them to Vail. Most of the great restaurants have moved on, but some still exist, Sweet Basil for instance and you can still party like a rock star at the RED Lion. There is so much to do in Vail Village and the surrounding area it becomes limitless and no one ever gets tired of the scenery.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
From the very beginning, my family has been my strongest support system. My youngest son worked with us for four years before pursuing his passion as an Aurora firefighter, a career that reflects his dedication to helping others. My middle son, fresh out of college in Fort Collins, started his own moving company, which became an integral part of our operations, providing manpower and delivery services as we expanded.
Through it all, my husband has been my business partner, coach, sounding board, and best friend—standing beside me every step of the way as we built this company from a dream into a thriving reality. Today, as I reflect on how far we’ve come, I know this journey has been possible because of their unwavering belief in me and the vision we’ve created together.
