Meet Jenna Ventura | Founder & CEO of Acadia Fit LLC

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenna Ventura and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jenna, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand, Acadia Fit LLC is human connection & authenticity to be yourself. Acadia Fit LLC would not be where it is today without the community and “come as you are” vibe so we can build together the best version of ourselves. Ever since the pandemic people have been isolated from their communities, their sense of self, and relying on automated/do it yourself services that lead to further disconnection and frustration. When it comes to running a successful business interpersonal relationships that make up the community are truly what makes the wheels these go round. I’ve been waking up to and working out with the same growing group of people for the past three years. I know their names, their aspirations, and even their pets who from time to time make their way onto the zoom screen mid-workout.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What sets me apart from the other entrepreneurs is my no-fear all in mentality in terms of operating business and the ability to keep it real with those who work with me in a loving way. I have a tough-love coaching style where I am supportive but I also am not going to do all the work for you. I empower my clients hold the mirror up for themselves so that they are able to confidently grow through their own transformation. In 2020, I started Acadia Fit LLC as a side business while working full time for corporate fitness in Boston, MA. When the pandemic hit I lost all job security and decided to hire business coaches who helped me scale to where I am now. I quit my corporate fitness desk job in Sept 2021 and decided to do some traveling running my business remotely online full-time. It was the scariest risk my business has gone through to date, but had I not taken that risk, I would still be working for someone else’s dream. Running your own business is not easy, I’ll be the first to tell you that I’ve shed a lot of tears and talked myself through long nights of self-doubt. Meanwhile, I still have a lot of work to do and things to learn, I don’t regret a single decision. I recently moved out to Denver, Colorado (completely on my own) after spending my whole life in Boston and look forward to meeting other entrepreneurs in the area and growing the AF community.
Lessons I learned is that people don’t buy your product because of its aesthetic delivery, they buy your product because they trust YOU and the transformation it promises. Even though this is a very saturated market, there is no competition, those ahead of you are happy to help and those who try to drag you down are already behind you pay no mind to them. Lastly, the work, works! You have to constantly be putting your energy into your business for it to grow, its much like giving a plant water and sunlight, you must nurture your current clients so they can bloom and others will notice and your garden will grow.
I grew my business from the ground up and going on 3 years as a women owned, small business owner. I know believing in yourself is scary especially when we are conditioned to not take risks and play it safe, but when you go all in on yourself you cant lose, I can promise you that.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If you were to come hang with me for a weekend this is exactly where I would take you for a Denver experience. Fly in Thursday night and we would hit up my condo jacuzzi at night — trust me your legs will thank me for it! Friday we would hit up brunch at Jelly Cafe then head over to Hudson Hill for flavored lattes, explore the Art in the Rino district. Friday night we would hit up Postino and then if we were feeling up for it maybe hit up Tracks/ Roll Denver for a themed roller skate event if dont feel like moving we could check out Happy Capper for a unique experience of pizza and cocktails.
Saturday – wake up early, enjoy a scenic drive to the mountains to hike! Theres way to many hikes to mention but Garden of the Gods is great for beginners, Boulder is great because of how unique it is and then anything off i70 is going to give you a good run for your money so hopefully you are in shape to hit some elevation. Come home and relax before going out to dinner at Tacos Tequila and Whiskey and then drinks at one of the many speak easys offered here.
Sunday – Wake up and head to Rush Cycle highland for an amazing Cycle class followed by brunch again but this time at Mimosas! You most likely will have to fly home Sunday but if I had you for 1 more extra day it would be to check out denver botanical garden or another art/historic exhibit.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to take a moment to thank my parents for raising me with a foundation of Self love and belief that I could do anything I put my mind **and heart** into. The 90DayCeo mentors Christina Muccio and Melissa Dugolescki and the evolving community I worked alongside with. My life coach Pharaoh Kyle who helped me let go of personal life setbacks and deepened my connection to self so I could step forward into the best version of myself to date. And lastly and most importantly, the amazing members of the Acadia Fit Community past, present and future.
