Meet Jennifer Bigler | Business Owner & Author

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Bigler and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jennifer, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Other than working for myself, the most important decision that contributed to my success was no longer allowing self-doubt to control my choices. I realized that giving myself grace, embracing mistakes as part of the process, and allowing time for growth were key. Once I stopped letting self-doubt take up space in my mind, I was able to move forward with confidence and trust in my abilities. Letting go of that fear opened up doors I never thought possible and gave me the freedom to truly thrive.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I started my business because I’ve always loved being creative, and cooking has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. When my family was diagnosed with food allergies, my blog naturally grew from there. I wanted to share what I was learning, and help others navigate life with dietary restrictions. Then came a point where I needed to earn more, but I couldn’t find a job that aligned with my love for cooking or the flexible hours I needed for my family. So, I took a leap and went all in with my blog. That decision eventually led me to discover a passion for digital marketing, and that’s how Jennifer Bigler Marketing was born.
It hasn’t been easy. Balancing motherhood and running a business is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. There are days when I feel like I’m excelling in my career, and then there are times when I feel like I’m just scraping by, but I’m more available to my family—and that’s what matters most. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that you can’t be perfect at everything all the time, and that’s okay. What sets me and my brand apart is that we’re real. We’re about doing our best, giving ourselves grace, and continuing to move forward. I want the world to know that my story is rooted in a passion for helping others live freely and joyfully, no matter their dietary restrictions.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is perfect timing because we actually just moved to the area earlier this year, and I’ve got friends and family visiting soon, so I’ve been planning! Being gluten-free, the Denver Metro area has been such a haven for us. There are so many amazing gluten-free spots to eat and drink!
Day 1: We’d kick things off in downtown Castle Rock with brunch at B & B Cafe, which has great gluten-free options. Then, we’d stroll around the shops and stop at Sinners & Saints for a fun happy hour.
Day 2: We’d catch a Colorado Rockies game and, of course, make a stop at the gluten-free food stand—it’s a must!
Day 3: For a more relaxed day, I’d take them to Babes Tea Room in Denver for an amazing gluten-free tea experience.
Day 4: We’d head over to Golden to visit the Holidaily Taproom, the best place for gluten-free beer, followed by gluten-free fish and chips at Woody’s—so good!
Day 5: We’d drive down to Colorado Springs for Moch Thai’m Donuts and then spend the afternoon exploring Garden of the Gods, a stunning natural landmark.
Day 6: In the Cherry Creek area, we’d grab lunch at Bamboo Sushi (with great gluten-free options) and then top it off with some treats from Sweet Izzy’s ice cream while walking around the lovely shops.
Day 7: We’d finish the week with a stop at Against the Grain Bakery for the most incredible gluten-free baked goods, and then head to the Holidaily DTC Taproom to wind down.
This would be the perfect week of exploring, eating, and soaking up all the best gluten-free spots and attractions in the area!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my successes to the incredible, strong women I had the privilege of working with in my early 20s. Watching you all in action truly lit the fire in me, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without your inspiration. Thank you!
