We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Zamora and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, what is the most important factor behind your success?
My love for the art. I love newborn photography. I don’t just ‘do photos’ I live and breathe this genre of art. From the moment I wake up until the moment I go to bed at night, I am thinking about, creating for, and practicing my skills to give all moms the chance to catch this fleeting time. I truly understand the importance of these images and immerse myself in the art so I can ensure we capture all the Tiny Details.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Tiny Details Photography focuses on catching all the tiny details, not just the one photo were you can only see baby’s side of face, but ALL the photos, the naked, the bucket, that standing potato, the light coming from different angle, the special requests, the sibling shoots, and family photos, tiny details wants you to have all the different angles and styles so we capture this moment in time. As a photographer I will admit that my love for this genre exceeded my experience at first. What I noticed when starting out, was that I really wanted every detail to be absolutely perfect and, although I am a ‘get it done fast’ kinda girl in regular life, I took the delicate time to place every detail just right to get the image I envisioned. Over the last nearly 10 years I have enjoyed slowing down and taking the time to master this genre. My biggest lessons are learned from the hands on practice and training I have received. Every class I take or every session I observe I learn more and it just continues to fuel the love I have for this art and allows me to be a leader in the industry.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I LOVE Aurora! This little big town has everything you could ever need or want and is just busy to keep you doing all the fun stuff and slow enough to enjoy the views. Start your mornings off with a hike to our beautiful mountains or enjoy a ride around the many reservoirs. I personally love the quiet peace of the aurora reservoir. With an 8 mile bike ride around the lake, you can see some of the most beautiful architecture from homes in the area. Aurora also has some great breakfast places to eat including, The French Press, Doug’s Dinner, Three Griddles, Denver Biscuit Company and Jus Grilling to name a few. I also really recommend visiting the Stanley Market Place. This unique mall offers several breweries with the option to drink while you shop. They have a wonderful collective of Colorado based stores and offer awesome sales and events in the hanger. Stay long enough to look into the very cool history of this building and the Stanley story (definitely ask about the bear in the flight suit) Also soak up all the rich history by attending a fox theater show, or visit the plains conservation center, or the free history museum. End your days catching the best sunsets. Find a high hill on the southeast side of aurora, park to enjoy.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Tiny Details Photography is lucky to work with the most amazing group of individuals. The success of the company has a lot to do with the people that help make this place such a great place to work. Quick call out to our national/international mentors ShannonBurke, JosieTan, and KellyBrown, these mentors and group of professionals are always available and able to advise and help achieve contest worthy images. Also calling out my vendors for always being able to make one of a kind items quickly and skillfully for my customers including Ersafelt, Luneberry and Modest Little Me, I have the best props! And calling out all friends, family, and past clients, thanks for knowing how much we love this art, we appreciate all the shares and love you send our way. This business is run on referrals and we couldn’t be more thankful for your recommendations. This is a HUGE call out to the Tiny Details assistants. All day, everyday, these amazing people are bombarded with questions, requests for opinions, sent out on errands to get props or supplies at the drop of a hat, asked to cull images, clean whatever tornado hit the studio, assist in organizing the largest prop collection you have ever seen, and of course do any crazy dance/song babe might need to bust a smile, and they do all of this with such grace, skill, and kindness that brings us such great pride.
Thank you all you for your support.
