We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenny Garland and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenny, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Everything we do at Colorado Beauty RN is about providing the absolute best experience for patients. I visualize the type of place my friends and I would like to go for injectables and skincare treatments and work backwards to create that stellar environment and customer service. There are many habits that have helped me succeed. I take quarterly advanced injection technique and safety classes, I read the latest research articles about injectables and skincare, I collaborate with other medical professionals about best practices, and I ask my patients for feedback about their experience. I set an intention for each day and focus on three tasks that absolutely must be completed. This helps me stay on track and not get overwhelmed when there are actually 100 tasks I need to be working on. This past year I have made a habit of a workday shutdown where I turn off all work notifications until the morning so I can spend time with my family and re-energize. Hiring fantastic employees who share the same passion for customer service has helped me succeed because I can confidently delegate to them.

At Colorado Beauty RN, you deserve to look and feel your best. As a luxury medical spa in Castle Rock, CO, we provide cutting-edge injectable and skincare treatments. Our nurse injector and licensed medical esthetician have advanced training and continue their education consistently to stay on top of the latest trends as well as safety information. We love the relationships we form with patients and treat them like family! This is a challenging industry and we strive to set realistic expectations and guide patients through a fun journey to reach their skincare goals. We firmly believe in natural-looking results and want to keep you looking like you, just refreshed. Owning a business is challenging but so rewarding. I am proud of how far Colorado Beauty RN has come since we opened in July 2018. I believe in mastering your craft and that is precisely what we are working on! We are not a one-stop-shop for all beauty needs. We only treat the face and neck and pride ourselves on our knowledge and outcomes. We are excellent at what we do and when someone needs a different treatment we do not offer or surgery to get the results they want, we happily refer those patients out to trusted medical professionals.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my bestie to brunch at the delicious Hawaiian Ohana Grille in Castle Rock and then head up to Boulder. We would take a hike on the Boulder Canyon Trail and follow that with a tour at Celestial Seasonings. We would walk along Pearl Street and shop in the eclectic boutiques and have an hour and a half massage before we headed home!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband, Brad, deserves the biggest shoutout! He is creative, supportive, and has such a unique outlook on life. Brad has run a successful IT Security business for nearly two decades and there is no way I would have taken the leap to start my own business without his encouragement. He graciously has shared what has worked and what hasn’t over the years. I truly admire that he always puts our three daughters and me first and carves out time to spend with us daily. He is the most well-balanced person I know!
