We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Broadwell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremy, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of Adventure in Pixels absolutely is our Pixel Vixens. We have an elite team of brand ambassadors that have allowed us to hone our photography skills while fine tuning and finessing our craft. Our Pixel Vixens have been our biggest blessing, constantly challenging our creativity and artistry. They are pushing us to find new ways to deliver the best possible experience for each and every customer. We are constantly seeking to improve what we offer as a brand, but at the end of the day, our brand is YOU.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our company is just over a year and a half old. As a dual-military veteran couple, we set out to build a business that builds up people. Jeremy retired from the United States Air Force in 2016. As many veterans can attest, that transition was anything but simple. Having been a part of something as elite as our armed forces, he was now searching for where he fit as he transitioned to civilian life. After being unable to find fulfillment in odd jobs he held after retirement, Jeremy sought to pursue a photography degree and build a business that helps others find themselves as well. And then, Covid-19 and the pandemic rocked our world. The whole world fell victim to declining mental health, and our mission to spread love to as many people as possible became that much more important. There have certainly been bumps in the road, but each new client is another life touched. We are blessed to work with such amazing and deserving clients. Each one of them has been instrumental in our journey, and we appreciate them joining us for the ride.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We are absolutely enamored with the beauty that is Colorado. Whenever we have out of town visitors, we want them to experience the natural beauty of our state. We head west, usually grab some biscuits and gravy at the Donut Mill in Woodland Park. We’d hike & explore the Crags, before hitting up the Brass Ass in Cripple Creek. No trip to the mountains is complete without visiting one of the many hot springs (shh! our favorite is Mt Princeton). We’d have to hit up Breck, because the slopes are insane and the vibes are just right. We’d finish off the week-long venture with a scenic train ride, some hatch chiles and. a walk around Manitou Springs. Our not so little town of Falcon has one of Jeremy’s favorite local breweries, JAKs Brewing. Honestly, a week just isn’t enough. Colorado is amazing!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
We couldn’t be where we are today without the love and support of our families, and for one another. As a husband and wife duo, being married to your business partner is anything but bland, but having your best friend by your side makes it all worth it.

We also couldn’t have come this far without the support of our dear friend, Marc, and our investors, Ronald & Lesley. The three of them have been impactful, and we are so thankful for each and every one of them.
