Meet Jessica Frasier | Artist, Entrepreneur & Former CX Executive

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Frasier and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
After 13 years in my corporate career, I took a step back and evaluated my life. I realized I had shifted from being a creator to simply being a consumer — and that has never been who I am at my core. I’ve always been someone who thrives on building, innovating, and bringing ideas to life. So, I made a conscious decision to take a sabbatical and reconnect with that creative part of myself. Starting my art business was both a personal and professional commitment — a way to feed my soul through creation, while also making art more accessible and affordable for people who love unique, original pieces but often feel priced out in today’s economy. It’s about creating with purpose, for myself and for others.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My career has been anything but linear, and I think that’s part of what sets me apart. I spent over a decade in the corporate world, ultimately serving as a VP of Customer Experience, where I learned how to lead teams, drive strategy, and deliver results at scale. But after 13 years, I realized I was no longer creating — I was only consuming. That realization was the turning point that led me to take a sabbatical and start JF Studio, my art business.
What makes me proud is that I built this business not just to create for myself, but to create for others. I wanted to make original, meaningful art accessible to people who love it but often feel priced out in today’s economy. I also wanted to build a space — online and in-person — that fosters creativity, connection, and joy, especially for kids and families.
It definitely hasn’t been easy. Leaving the stability of a corporate career to pursue entrepreneurship was daunting, and there were moments of doubt along the way. But I’ve learned to trust the process, stay rooted in my ‘why,’ and surround myself with a strong support network. Each challenge has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of listening to both my head and my heart.
What I want the world to know about my brand is that JF Studio isn’t just about art — it’s about experience, accessibility, and community. It’s a place where creativity comes alive, where people can reconnect with playfulness and self-expression, and where art feels approachable instead of intimidating. My story is one of reinvention, and I hope it inspires others to create their own version of a life that feels true to them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting, we’d absolutely make it a Halloween-themed adventure since my birthday is October 30th and spooky season is my favorite time of year! Living in the DFW area gives us so many fun options, but I’d definitely take them to Denton, which is basically the Halloween capital.
We’d start with a visit to one of Denton’s witchy tea shops — they’re such a unique, cozy way to get into the Halloween spirit. Then we’d spend the afternoon thrifting our way through the local shops and supporting Denton’s art scene, which has such a cool, eclectic vibe. There’s something about wandering through a town full of murals, quirky boutiques, and creative energy that just makes me so happy.
We’d end the day with dinner at a local spot (Denton has some great hidden gems for foodies) and maybe catch some live music — because no Denton trip is complete without it. If it was a full week-long trip, we’d mix in some DFW favorites too — maybe a trip to the Dallas Arboretum for their incredible pumpkin displays, exploring Bishop Arts District for its art and dining scene, and spending some time at local galleries and creative spaces to keep the inspiration flowing. For me, the perfect itinerary is all about a balance of art, creativity, and a little seasonal magic.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
So many people deserve a shoutout for where I am today — my journey has never been a solo one. It’s rooted in a strong support system that has pushed and encouraged me at every turn. My mother has always believed in the version of me I envision for myself, even when I doubted it. My best friend has been my sounding board, my cheerleader, and the person who keeps me grounded when things get overwhelming. My husband gives me both the space and the strength I need to grow — he’s been my steady hand through this entire journey. And I can’t forget the Rockwall Art League, which has provided invaluable guidance and a community of artists that continue to inspire me and push my creative boundaries. I’m deeply grateful for every single one of them.
