Meet Jina Uvalle | CEO & Founder of Beautifully Twisted Publishing & Designs LLC

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jina Uvalle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jina, why did you pursue a creative career?
I wanted to pursue a creative career because it allows me to express myself in a way that is meaningful and fulfilling.

I am an introvert and I have found that being creative gives me an outlet for my thoughts, feelings, and ideas. Being able to write has been especially powerful for me because it allows me to freely express myself without interruption or distraction. Designing also offers a calming outlet in this world constantly in chaos.

What should our readers know about your business?
I started Beautifully Twisted Publishing & Designs to bring people together. I wanted to create a space where people could express themselves in a way that was authentic and meaningful, and I wanted them to feel seen and heard.

I believe everyone has a story to tell and deserves the chance to be heard, no matter who they are or where they come from. That’s why we strive for inclusivity and representation in all of our publications and designs—because we know that those things make the world more beautiful!

Starting this business was sometimes difficult, but it has been worth every moment spent working hard toward my goals. Nothing worthwhile comes without hard work, dedication, and commitment—and now I am grateful for everything I’ve learned along the way!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I were to plan a trip for me and my bestie Monique. We would start our first day off with some refreshing mimosas and delicious food at Snooze, followed by a quick stop at JC Nails for a relaxing manicure and pedicure. After that, we’ll head on over to the stunning Garden of the Gods, where we’ll take a leisurely stroll and soak in the incredible views.

Once we’re feeling nice and rejuvenated, we’ll treat ourselves to a luxurious spa visit, complete with massages and facials. As the day winds down, we’ll make our way to the Colorado Mountain Brewery, where we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and take in the breathtaking mountain view from their patio.

The next day, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to Estes Park, where we’ll attend a delightful wine festival and sample some of the finest local wines. After that, we’ll spend some time lounging by the pool, soaking up the sun and enjoying the tranquil surroundings.

To cap off our trip, we’ll head to one of our all-time favorite restaurants in town for a scrumptious dinner and some good old-fashioned bonding time. All in all, it’s sure to be a trip filled with fun, relaxation, and unforgettable memories.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to take a moment to acknowledge my husband, Dominic, my family, and my best friend for their unwavering support. Their encouragement and belief in me have been instrumental in my journey. I also want to thank my author friends and readers, Ameenah and Kat, for their constant inspiration and guidance.

While I have worked hard to achieve my goals, I recognize that I have not done it alone. The support of those around me has made all the difference. I hope that by setting an example for my children, they, too, will see the value of hard work and the power of a supportive community.
