Meet Johna Johnson

We had the good fortune of connecting with Johna Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Johna, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
During my short 37 years, I have had experience in many businesses. At a young age, my parents sold candles and jewelry at craft shows around the south and my sister and I were able to have our own business inside theirs, selling water balloon yo-yos! I guess you can say thats where the fire started of being a business owner. My parents instilled in us at a young age what it took to be a small business owner.

Over the years I have had my share of direct sales companies, online boutiques, and also a haird stylist of 17 years.

I am now an independent travel agent, and also co own a home building business with my sister. It has been a beautiful ride to see where the Lord has took my love for people and business ownership.

Entrepreneurship is something that is very important to me. Although it takes a leap of faith, its worth it!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being a business owner takes courage, faith, and support. Whether its my travel career or my company I own with my sister, it has took lots of prayer and faith to be able to get started.

My travel business- I feel like this was something I was called to do! With years of thinking of becoming a travel agent I had a friend message me one day and say “Ya know, I really think you should be a travel agent” and thats all It took! I signed up the next day. I have never been too scared to jump into anything! The travel industry is huge and overwhelming for sure! But I have found my groove, and have continued to grow since I started it over a year ago. Education and confidence is the main thing, and that’s with any business. Knowledge is power!

I am here to help guide my customers to build lifetime memories on their vacation! From goody bags before their trip, to checking in when they get home, I try to make every detail special for my customers!
