Meet Jordan Antonuccio | Actor, Photographer, Videographer and Overall Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Antonuccio and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jordan, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I was born in Pittsburgh and raised by a single mother who managed to work full time and still raise me and my two older sisters. We moved around a lot while I was growing up and I went to many different schools but all that moving definitely shaped who I am and only gave me more life experiences that I used to my advantage later in life. Seeing how hard my mom works and knowing I needed to pursue something greater in order to help my family has always been my motivation. I’ve always loved being behind the camera as well as in front of it, so eventually at 21 I decided to move to New Orleans to pursue acting. After some time there and lots of training, I was lucky enough to get signed and book a few small roles including a speaking co-star role is USA Networks, The Purge TV series.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
When it comes to my art, I’m a photographer first and foremost. My eye is literally a camera embedded in my head and it’s been that way for as long as I can remember. I’ve always had the urge to document things in daily life which is why I’ve gravitated towards behind the scenes photos and videos. I think that’s what sets me apart from others, I have a sense for capturing the special moments most people don’t see. I’m probably most proud of my work with Taylor Gangs newest rising star, FeddTheGod. Fedd is not only an incredibly talented and hard working artist, but he’s also a great guy and a man of his word. I’m honored to call Fedd a friend and a colleague and really appreciate him continuing to believe in me and my work. Can’t wait to see him continue to grow and document his journey. It definitely wasn’t easy getting here, like I said, I’ve faced many challenges from being raised by a struggling single mom who overcame an abusive relationship with my father, to being biracial living in a small towns flooded with racism and small minded thinking. Along the way I learned to lean on my family for that love and support that we often seek from others but are unsuccessful in finding it, leaving us feeling empty. Family can fix that. If I want the world to know one thing about me and my brand, it’s that my goal is to simply capture dope people doing dope things and making a friend in the process. If I can make a living along the way that would be nice too, but money isn’t everything.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my family who has always stood by me through the darkest of times. I’ve faced many obstacles along the way and I truly believe I may not have overcome them without the love and support of my family. Without them I wouldn’t have ever accomplished anything. Thanks Mom, Amber, Kara, PapPap & Grandma. Y’all are my A-Team!
