We had the good fortune of connecting with Julia Ninefeldt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Julia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Working at all the wrong places, and going to school for way to many things, and making all the mistakes I did is what got me to where I am now.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have always been a person with passion to help others in this life. After years of serving tables and traveling the world I knew it was finally time to find my passion! It started years ago with becoming a certified yoga instructor and certified holistic health coach. I expanded that into becoming a licensed massage therapist! I was also certified in cupping levels 1-3 along with full body, facial/lymphatic, booty, and breast cupping! After realizing I wanted more, I went to esthetician school with a love and passion for skin and beauty! I became a licensed Aesthetician in 2017 with an extra 100 hours of paramedical aesthetics! My main focus has always been the medical side of it!

Before esthetician school I had a huge interest in permanent makeup and tattooing. I got my eyebrows done for the first time not knowing much about it and let’s just say it was a nightmare and ended up having to remove them with laser off my face. That’s when I knew permanent makeup was going to be my passion. I got certified in the state 132 hour permanent makeup course and immediately started right after school. For the first full year I spent getting experience at medspas and traveling around the world taking different trainings to perfect my skill. I am now 18x certified in permanent makeup and have done close to 2000 brows since starting. I have always been an artist and took art classes throughout high school and college and even had my own photography business! It’s just apart of who I am. Let’s just say I see things differently! I knew I was always suppose to start my own business and when I finally found my passion for this industry the time came and here I am almost 4 years later on my own with Julia’s Aesthetics aka Brows by Julia.

My fire didn’t stop and deep down I knew I always wanted to be a full medspa and do injections as it’s another side of my art. I didn’t take the short route to try and inject as an esthetician so I applied to the RN program and was accepted my first time. It was the hardest almost 4 years of my life as I ran my business on my own while in nursing school, and most people thought I was crazy for going through all of that just to inject, but when I have a passion I don’t know how to quit. I graduated as an RN earlier spring 2021 and then went on to finish my advanced 100 hours of injectable training in Arizona with plans of a full medspa to come! I am offering a very specific and special lip filler technique from Russia called the Russian Lip Technique from trained by the Russians themselves! I’m just very passionate about this industry and giving my clients the absolute best! My heart is huge and knowing I can help others feel amazing in what I do is the biggest gift I could ask for! I want people to see my heart and soul as the genuine being I am, I keep my prices lower then what they could be so everyone can make it possible to do these things for themselves.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to horsetooth lake as it’s beautiful and serene. I would most likely take them along the Poudre canyon drive as it’s so peaceful. I would take them to old Town fort Collins to eat and also down town loveland as they have a new scenic area with cute places to eat!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family and boyfriend Jesse along with all my clients.
