We had the good fortune of connecting with K.C Creations Theseus and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi K.C Creations, what role has risk played in your life or career?
When we think about risks it’s all about innovation. How to take those ideas from the mind and manifest them into something greater. When this idea was presented by my partner Theseus, we instantly thought how can we turn his idea into a greater project. For Theseus everything in his life is a risk, just can’t let that rick scare him from jumping. Everything risk wise is always about taking a risk in our careers turning project ideas into masterpieces.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
From a creative viewpoint for the both of us It took a lot of discipline and belief to get where we are at now. It wasn’t easy sitting behind a computer everyday making beats and graphics. But how much fun I have making beats and making graphics made it easier over time. Everything is a collaboration for us making sure the artwork matches the vibes of what songs are being produced.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
One place to check out is the Garden of the Gods, if you like nature and the outdoors its the place to check out. Food wise Gyroz is the spot to be for a nice quick bite to eat, and Jinya for some good ramen.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
So for our story it started in college through the Florida A&M Kinship of Big Brother Little Brother mentoring program. Those friendships created there formed a strong brotherhood on the campus of FAMU that to this day is still strong.
