We had the good fortune of connecting with Allie Gill and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Allie, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. I grew up and still attend a Church of Christ here in Springfield. My background of being raised in a Christian family has created who I am today. I have created a great relationship with Christ and I love spending time with him outdoors. When I get to spend time out in the mountains on a hike is where I am able to hear him most. Spending time in his creation and really basking in the idea of how small I am compared to all the mountains and trees he created, surrounding me, yet he loves me unconditionally and is always walking right beside me. In the scheme of things I am so small. Yet with Gods guidance I am able to make a big difference in this world. That is one of the reasons I started my Christian Travel Instagram Account @myadventurebible. Throughout my younger years, I had always been shy in sharing my faith. But ever since I started my Instagram Account a year ago I have been able to share my faith very openly while sharing my travels and love for the outdoors as well. This has created a stronger relationship between me and God and has also created an even deeper love for the outdoors, which I was not sure was possible. I give God total control and credit for all the things he is doing in my life and I know that is why I am here today because he has great plans for me!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started my Instagram account (@myadventurebible) in January of 2021. At first I did it on a whim just because I thought it would be fun. I had no idea how my Instagram would grow and how I have created a community of Christian Travelers who have become great friends and influences in my life. I love being able to have this community to get tips and tricks from whether it be in my walk with God or my travels. I love being able to share my faith and my travels with over 14,000 people. It is crazy to me that one little idea has came this far but I am so glad that it did. It has become one of my favorite things to do and it is a hobby as well as a starting business. I love being able to work with brands that I love and sharing them to my community of people. Eventually I would love to make @myadventurebible my full time job and be able to make a big difference in the faith and travel community.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are a lot of people who have been on my walk throughout my 21 years of life that have lead me to where I am today. My family has been a huge apart of creating my love for Christ and my love of traveling. The Hammitt’s and the Broussard’s, my best friends families, have taken me in like I am one of their own and I give them a lot of credit for leading me and guiding me down the path that God has for me since they are always there for me. Over the past several years I want to give a shoutout to Amie Kendrick for being my rock. She is always someone I know that I can always go to. Whether that be for a grand adventure or just sitting talking about life. These people in my life have helped me create a God based life that is full of adventures.
