We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaitlyn Gardner Gardner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaitlyn Gardner, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success—and the success of my business—is a mix of delusion and calculated fearlessness. I truly believe you can do anything you set your mind to. For me, that meant creating the perfect space for other dreamers to chase their goals without breaking the bank. Starting something new is hard and scary, but doing it in a professional, supportive space surrounded by others on the same path? That’s powerful. It keeps me going and reminds me I’m doing my part.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Our business was built out of a need I personally experienced—trying to get big things done with limited resources and a lot of ambition. I wanted to create a space for people like me: entrepreneurs, creatives, and small business owners who needed a professional, inspiring environment without the high cost or cold vibe of traditional office spaces. That’s how 3 Cubed Coworking came to life.

What sets us apart is that this space was created with real people in mind—people juggling side hustles, families, clients, dreams, and deadlines. It’s not just about having desks and Wi-Fi (though we have that too!). It’s about community, support, and surrounding yourself with others who are figuring it out alongside you. We’re budget-friendly, flexible, and full of personality—which is exactly what I needed when I started, and what I’m proud to offer now.

Getting to this point was absolutely not easy. There were so many moments of doubt, especially doing this without a roadmap. But I leaned on my people, asked for help, stayed scrappy, and never stopped believing that it was possible. I’ve learned to stay open, stay adaptable, and to always be honest—with myself and with my community.

If there’s one thing I want the world to know, it’s that you can build something from scratch. It won’t always be perfect or easy, but it will be worth it. My hope is that 3 Cubed becomes a part of someone else’s success story—the way this journey has been such a big part of mine.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting, we’d definitely spend a good chunk of the week outside. One of the best parts about living in Colorado is having so much access to the outdoors. Depending on the season, we’d either be up in the mountains snowboarding or out dirt biking on the trails. The scenery out here is unreal and it’s kind of impossible not to take advantage of it.

We’d make a trip up to Denver for sure—some of my favorite food spots are there. Seoul ManDoo has the best dumplings, and Sushi Row is always solid. And I take pretty much everyone to the Denver Botanic Gardens on York Street. It’s just a cool, quiet spot to walk around and reset a little.

Locally, we’d hang out at a few of my go-to coffee shops, probably spend a little time at 3 Cubed if we need to catch up on work, and just enjoy being around good people.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
When I first moved to Colorado, I didn’t have any family here—it was just me taking a leap of faith. Thankfully, my sisters followed soon after, and over time, we’ve built the most incredible chosen family. One of my sisters married into a truly wonderful family, and they’ve embraced all of us as their own. They’ve become a huge source of love, encouragement, and community. My brother-in-law, who’s also our pastor and the contractor who helped build out our space, has been such a gift to this journey.

I also have to give a huge shoutout to Sean, the owner of this space, who believed in my vision from the start. His willingness to invest in it and trust me with it is something I’ll always be grateful for—it gave me the foundation I needed to build something real.

And none of this would function without Lyssa—my best friend, my assistant, and my biggest cheerleader. She’s been with me through every detail, every late night, and every challenge. She truly keeps everything running and has been a lifesaver in every sense of the word. I’m lucky to have her, and even luckier to do this surrounded by people who believe in the dream just as much as I do.
