We had the good fortune of connecting with Kallyn Romero and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kallyn, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
It’s always great to see the fruits of your labor! One of the many things that puts a smile on my face is seeing guests at Ironton enjoying a cocktail on our patio, on a sunny day surrounded by their friends (and dogs!), swapping stories of their favorite Colorado adventures.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Since Ironton is in RiNo, I’m a little bit biased! On the westside alone, there’s so much to do, eat and drink! Check out the murals and art galleries, including the Ironton Art Gallery, bike along the Platte River trail, see a show at Mission Ballrooom or catch a smaller act at one of the many bars/venues hosting music, and of course, do some bar/brewery/distillery hopping for great food and drinks!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
The Ironton dogs! From the very beginnings of Ironton, Wesley, Karma, Prince and Ludo have been there. Sometimes adding to the chaos of opening up a business, but always keeping a smile on our faces. Over the years, they’ve been joined by more buds, we are definitely a dog-loving crew!
