Meet Karl Robinson | Owner of Livin’ Decent Lifestyle

We had the good fortune of connecting with Karl Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Karl, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind our success comes in two factors: The support of the city which is Denver, Co. and the belief in the vision mixed with the grind to make it happen. Its a few other supporting elements but these two to me plays an important part of the success.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Livin’ Decent Lifestyle is a clothing brand based out of Denver, Colorado. The brand stems from a movement that was started in 1996 and flourished in 2018. Our motto is: No matter what challenges life brings you, no matter the circumstance, always remember: ” You only Live Once, Live Decent”. That comes from your inner morals and actions from the outside of living.

We currently have a online store (livindecent.com) and are in 3 local stores around the city (Notorious Aurora mall, Birdhouse Boutique, and The Fairfax). We strive to make it simple for our support system to Live Decent while making sure its Quality in Quantity.

The onething I am most proud of is knowing that I started with 6 shirts and grew from out the trunk to supplying stores and doing good numbers online. It is not easy at all, you have to go thru trials and tribulations just as anything you strive to do.. Its been plenty of nights that I wanted to give up but when I see how the brand and the message behind the kind act of Livin” Decent relates to the mass majority of people it keeps me grinding and pushing for more success.

I would like the world to know, Livin’ Decent is the capability of living a healthy life, physically and spiritually. To have moral integrity, kindness, and goodwill. To maintain whether your down or up through the storm and sunshine. In all, what ever life brings you way make sure to maintain a Decent Lifestyle..

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First of course we would go to all the stores with the brand in it and show some of the city while doing so.. Stop by Welton St Café or Agave depending on what kind of food my friend wants to eat. If its a Tuesday we would go by Taco Tuesday where Squizzy Taylor is spinning and Sunday Funday with Ktone at Agave Shore. Depending on the weather Lookout Mountain or Red Rocks to enjoy some outside activities maybe even hiking in the Springs.
