We had the good fortune of connecting with Keith Cassell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keith, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to get away from corporate training methods and also be my own me. They way I train dogs is not the same as the place I was working. Dogs are my passion and I wanted to create a business for myself and my wife and something my son could have in the future!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Pawsitive Pac Creations Dog training is my business. We are family owned and operated. Literally myself and my wife. What sets us apart is that we are very personable with our clients. We train in real world experiences so that the dogs get the best out of life we are very hands on and try to adapt to new ways and implement them into our training. We are always evolving. What I’m most proud of is seeing how far we have come and watching us grow everyday. Seeing my wife learn and grow and become a great trainer is the most rewarding. What I’m excited about is what the future holds. We got to where we are now by pushing the envelope. We worked hard and studied our competitors and tried to be better and learn from mistakes. Word of mouth was our biggest ally. It wasn’t easy and still isn’t but we have a never give up attitude. Its the satisfaction of seeing puppies learn and grow and our clients happyness of how far their dogs have come! Challenges will always be on the horizon its just how you prepare. Have a plan and understand there will be ups and there will be downs. But its how you face each. The lessons ive learned along the way really is just understanding the business and how to get more clientele in different ways. Learning out to be different each year. We want the world to know life is hard there are always stumbling blocks and things that will try to stop you along the way but if you believe In yourself and what you want anything possible. My life was very hard up untill recently but I learned to persevere. If I can anyone can.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the mountains places like RedRocks and garden of the gods are beautiful. I would also take them to different amusement parks and fun places. Eating would have to be Italian spots olive gardens, maggianos maybe, lol cant go wrong with some red robins, chilis. Drink lol water soda juice maybe a beer here and there. Not really a drinker. Most fun and interesting people are really just people in general because everyone has a story thats the joy of being different right?.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My wife Genesee is my rock and my reason without her I don’t know where it be. She makes me want to push harder to have a great life for us!. To My son Jaybriel and Step daughter Keira because I want the best life ever for them so myself and my wife work harder to give them that! And to my Grandma Minnie because she never gave up hope and always believed in me.
