Meet Kendra Miller, Stephanie Chapman | Founder and Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kendra Miller, Stephanie Chapman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kendra Miller, Stephanie Chapman, how does your business help the community?
I Got You, Girl exists to be a village—especially for women, moms, and families who are carrying too much on their own.
At a community level, we help by:
Reducing overwhelm for families by providing practical, trustworthy help with everyday life—organization, errands, meal prep, home projects, and more. When families feel supported at home, everything else gets lighter.
Creating flexible, meaningful work for women and moms, many of whom need schedules that work around kids, caregiving, or life transitions. We value their skills, lived experience, and reliability—and pay them fairly.
Strengthening local connections by keeping support hyper-local. Our assistants live in the same communities as the families they serve, which builds trust, relationships, and a true sense of belonging.
Supporting mental and emotional well-being by removing the “I have to do it all myself” mindset. Asking for help shouldn’t feel like failure—it should feel like wisdom.
On a bigger scale, we’re helping shift the narrative:
That unpaid labor (often carried by women) has real value
That community care matters just as much as productivity
That families thrive when support is shared, not carried alone
Simply put: we help people breathe again—and we do it by connecting real women to real families, one act of support at a time. 🤍

What should our readers know about your business?
I Got You, Girl was built from real life—not a business plan on paper, but lived experience. We saw firsthand how much invisible work families—especially moms—carry every day, and how hard it can be to ask for help even when you desperately need it. We didn’t want to create just another service; we wanted to create a village.
What sets us apart is that we’re not transactional. We don’t believe support should feel cold, rushed, or one-size-fits-all. We focus on real relationships, trust, and matching the right assistant to the right family. Our assistants aren’t just “help”—they’re women who care deeply, show up consistently, and understand the season of life our clients are in because they’re often living it too.
We’re most proud of the community we’ve built—both the families we support and the women we’ve been able to create flexible, meaningful work for. Seeing relief wash over a client’s face or hearing that someone finally feels caught up again never gets old. That impact is what keeps us going.
Getting here wasn’t easy. We’ve learned everything as we went—how to build systems, how to communicate clearly, how to set boundaries, and how to grow without losing the heart of what we started. There were moments of doubt, growing pains, and plenty of trial and error. We overcame those challenges by staying rooted in our mission, leaning on our village, being willing to pivot, and giving ourselves permission to learn out loud instead of waiting to be perfect.
The biggest lessons we’ve learned are that you don’t have to do everything yourself, community matters, and sustainable growth happens when people come before process. We’ve also learned that asking for help is a strength—and creating space for others to do the same can be life-changing.
What we want the world to know about I Got You, Girl is simple: this brand was built with heart. We believe families thrive when support is shared instead of carried alone, that women deserve work that fits their lives, and that real help—done with care—can truly change someone’s day, week, or even season of life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If our best friend was visiting, we’d want them to experience Greeley and the surrounding area the way we actually live it—slow mornings, local businesses, and plenty of time to connect. We’d start the morning with coffee at Coco’s in St. Michael’s Square, then head downtown Greeley to walk around and pop into small shops like Warm Hugs. We’d also make time to stop by Charley & Co., a favorite for coffee and cute finds.
We’d carve out time for self-care too, with facials at Richter Med Spa, because being taken care of is part of the experience. Meals would stay easy and local—casual spots, takeout, or eating at home together—keeping the focus on conversation and connection rather than a packed schedule.
We’d mix in a change of scenery with time in Old Town Fort Collins, where we’d wander, people-watch, and stop into favorite shops like Santa Fe Craftsman. We’d also plan a day up in Estes Park for fresh air, mountain views, and a reset. That balance between a close-knit community and easy access to adventure is one of the things we love most about living here.
More than anything, we’d want our best friend to leave feeling what makes this area special—the heart of the community, the small businesses that support each other, and a pace of life that makes room for connection. If they felt relaxed, cared for, and a little more grounded by the end of the week, we’d know we did it right.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
This shoutout really goes to our village.
To our parents, for modeling hard work, perseverance, and what it looks like to show up for others.
To our spouses, for the support, patience, and encouragement it takes to build something while balancing family life.
To our kids, who inspire everything we do and remind us why this work matters so much.
To our assistants, whose hearts, reliability, and willingness to step in and help make this work possible every single day—you are the backbone of I Got You, Girl.
And to our clients, for trusting us in your homes and lives and allowing us to support you in meaningful ways.
Finally, to our community, for believing in us, cheering us on, and supporting I Got You, Girl from the very beginning.
This business exists because of the people who have walked alongside us, poured into us, and reminded us that success is never carried alone. We’re incredibly grateful for every part of that village.
