We had the good fortune of connecting with Kim Roach and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kim, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I offer coaching, sound baths, breathwork & meditation, as well as women’s wellness retreats. My mission is to empower women to step into their unlimited potential by helping them activate their abundance codes and create the life of their dreams. We do this by reprogramming the subconscious and using spiritually infused practices that center around energy, mindset, and embodiment. Women who work with me are calling in major shifts in their life, especially around career, income, and soul purpose.

I believe that everyone is their own healer and has the ability to tap into a higher energy source. I am simply here to hold the space and help guide the way.

As more people tap into the higher frequencies of love and abundance, it begins to spread like wildfire. My business is here to assist in that journey – raising the vibration of this planet.

Because as we heal ourselves, we begin to heal the world.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The women who work with me are ready to do the work to re-write their story and break through limiting beliefs for deep, powerful transformation. What makes me so excited about this journey is that I also get the opportunity to diver deeper into my own healing and spiritual modalities and then bring those learnings to the table for my Clients. I am also starting to collaborate with other wellness industry leaders for events and retreats!

I wouldn’t call my journey an easy one. But it hasn’t been difficult either. I pour my heart and soul into my business every single day. It has been the ultimate journey of expansion and it can sometimes seem like a lot of work and late nights. But, when you find something that lights the fire within, it gets to be FUN. It’s not draining when you do the work that you love. To be honest, I don’t know where this journey is going to take me. But for now, I am enjoying the ride because this has allowed me to grow as a soul and also be of service to others in ways I never imagined before.

A huge lesson I’ve had is to stop comparing my journey to others. To understand that my point of the journey is not the same as the others I see (especially on social media).

I’ve also learned the importance of bringing my awareness and focus back to myself. To practice more time in meditation, journaling, and focusing on my business and growth rather than watching TV or scrolling online. I feel so much more grounded and productive when I dedicate the time and space to myself first.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
LA is such an amazing place to visit because we have everything! The beach, desert, mountains, lakes, vineyards and so much more!

If someone was to visit, we’d spend the first day exploring Venice and walking around Abbott Kinney and the canals. Then head to the beach for sunset and a picnic. The next day, head to Topanga for a morning hike then brunch at Inn if the 7th Ray. We’d then head over to Malibu for a beach day and another sunset.

I’d take them down to Joshua Tree for 3-4 days. Spend 2 days in the park (maybe camping)! The landscapes in Joshua Tree are incredible and the energy is so potent! And the other days we’d lounge around our amazing Airbnb relaxing in the hot tub and exploring the town as well. Joshua tree has great vintage thrift shops!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Big shoutout to my partner, Brendan Kennedy! He’s an entrepreneur himself and is the CEO & Founder of NxTSTOP Apparel. I remember the days that I would cry to him because I was so upset that I felt so disconnected from my purpose.

When I finally realized that I had gifts to share with the world and was ready to step into my business, he supported me the entire way.

He helped me set up every single sound bath (carrying heavy instruments!), encouraged me to push forward, and never questioned any of my wildest dreams. He also helped me set up the LLC on the technical side too!

It’s so important to surround yourself with cheerleaders because when you walk the path of entrepreneurship it can sometimes seem lonely and scary! So grateful to have a partner that makes me feel supported every step of the way.

Also would like to thank all of the women who inspire me every day, the authors of the dozens (or hundreds) of books I’ve read, teachers, as well as the indigenous people and tribes that have carried their sacred wisdom throughout the ages so that we can continue to experience these practices.
