We had the good fortune of connecting with Kimberly Massale and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kimberly, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I started my own psychotherapy and coaching businesses to support women in building confidence, healing and stepping into their power.

I also love the flexibility and unlimited growth that owning a business allows me. I am able to have a the freedom to be with my children whenever they are not in school, afford my husband being a stay at home father and have time to exercise during my work day!

The most important factor behind the success of my brand has been developing my business from more feminine energies and methods rather than masculine. For example, I lead from intuition, creativity, energy flow and self-care rather than strategizing, planning and analyzing.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The work I do with individuals that have been conditioned to be women is unique in that I support my clients in healing from toxic societal and patriarchal programming in their bodies. I teach and guide women through embodiment practices that help them to understand and heal from a deeper level of their human experience than just the intellect. We can think we are in our power intellectually but our body can still be struggling to take up space and be empowered. As women we have been conditioned to be small, quiet and submissive and culturally most everything we do is still expected to be done in a masculine manner. So breaking down all these limitations is necessary if we want to be in our highest vibration as women.

Additionally, my psychotherapy practice has grown to be a group of 10 psychotherapists now. We support women in healing from trauma, relational wounding and limiting beliefs to live their best lives. We work holistically and spiritually. This business has grown easily and quickly because we use more efficient and effective methods for healing than traditional therapy. I am grateful to be running an ethical and community oriented practice and am in constant awe of the amazing psychotherapists on our team.

My own process of growth has been aligned with everything I now teach the women I support. I have learned to step into my power as a woman, business owner, mother and partner. The path has been difficult, exhausting and painful at times. There have been years of hustle and intense dedication to my success. And thankfully, it has paid off tremendously. I have learned a lot about the motivations behind running a business and what an ethical business looks like and how to align my income and work with my integrity and soul’s path.

I credit dedication to personal development and my soul’s wisdom for my success. Continuing to tap into more confidence, clarity and intuition has been pivotal to my growth.

Now, I have a lifestyle full of freedom, where I can spend as much time as I want with my children and minimize work hours down to 20ish hours a week. I even have time to exercise and meditate daily.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend were to visit the area, I would take them to the mountains for a hike near a river or lake, maybe Grand Lake or Horsetooth Resevoir or Nederland, I would take them to a bunch of local breweries and restaurants – some of my favs are Breckenridge Brewery and Pumphouse Brewery. Then I may bring them to the downtown museums and restaurants. And in the summer to the waterparks : )

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to thank my accountant Mandy McGowan who has been vital to the wellbeing of my business and lifestyle.
