Meet Laura Collins | Launch Consultant + Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Laura Collins and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Laura, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
First, I’m going to let you in on a little secret…
If you’re struggling to figure out how to manage a work-life balance, I’ve been there, too.
I know what it’s like to stretch yourself thin, working crazy hours just to make your dream come true, or even simply make ends meet. For years, I sacrificed my personal life, and worked four jobs at once, all to get closer to my big vision.
Instead of bringing it to life, I ended up deep in a black hole of burnout – exhaustion, juggling (ungracefully) all the to-do’s, and my bills outweighed what I could bring in, making it impossible to go full-time with my business.
This is the same struggle I hear from so many other business owners now – so if that’s you, you’re not alone.
You don’t put in all this effort to get further away from your goals. You want to embody the success you desire without all the sacrifice, and thankfully life is meant to be lived.
The biggest turning point in my business was when I learned to balance my personal life and work life and make time for those little things that light me up because when you allow that to happen, that’s when creativity sparks!
Rather than settling for the hustle and grind, I chose to lean into self-care days, breathwork, and exercise and as a result, I was able to thrive in pursuit of my goal – and earn the income to match my effort and passion!
What resulted in it was a pivot in my business of taking my yearning for an entrepreneurial pursuit, pairing it with my creativity & relationship-building skills, and utilizing it to help other business owners elevate their creative marketing campaigns.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
With me, you get to do business in a way that fits your personality, business, and values—marketing campaigns for your next launch and brand photoshoots that elevate your business.
I’m here to hold SPACE & help you formulate A PATH to YOUR NEXT LEVEL OF BUSINESS with…

– Executing and implementing an aligned action plan for launching your offer/service – what I like to refer to as sales-making activities. We don’t just draw up ideas – we put them into action to get results while elevating your brand.
I settle for nothing short of helping you reach a level of empowerment and knowledge that guarantees the business you’re dreaming of.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love main street, Littleton. The local pubs, friendly restaurants, and shops are a great area to spend the afternoon walking around. Visit Jake’s Pub and say hi to Vanessa, then have lunch at Palenque and ask for Krissy!
Avanti for a beautiful view of the city (sunset is the best).
Pony Up is a gem of a restaurant, that serves amazing French Dip (even has Gluten-Free options!)
Denver is a great comedy scene, you can hit up Comedy Works (either location) for the best shows or if you’re looking for local acts, Rotating Tap features comedians at various breweries.
Liks Ice cream near Cheesman Park is the BEST ice cream (even has vegan flavors!)
Outdoor rock climbing in Clear Creek Canyon has great routes and also great nearby hiking trails.
Red Rocks (obviously).

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate a shout-out to Kira Goff from Kira Whitney Photography – Kira is a business owner, photographer, wife, and mother who delivers exceptional service.
