We had the good fortune of connecting with Lauren and Jessica Dally and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lauren and Jessica, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Our big values as a business is “Community, Quality, and Care” We believe that this is what is needed across the board with the divisions happening in society, that we all need a sense of community; To love one another, if you will. Everyone deserves a quality interaction, and quality goods, which we want to provide. Whether that be an amazing cup of coffee, or supporting local Colorado brands where we can. Care is big as well, because we want to make sure our community is taken care of.

What should our readers know about your business?
We are a business starting in the time of sister COVID. So there have been some challenges around that and how we can help others in the community as well. Our big value is “love one another” so we want to make sure we do that by partnering with other local businesses for our products and coffee, so we can be mutually supportive, but also create those relationships that will help each others businesses last through the pandemic. One of the things we have done before opening a physical location was starting an online platform to offer quality goods to our customers that could be shipped to them, to make sure they are getting amazing gifts for themselves and others but also operating as an online business to better understand it and how we can serve a greater nationwide community. Our business is a family ordeal. So we make sure our family members are involved in a way that helps us all grow, and use our individual gifts we have learned along our different paths as well. I think that sets us apart in terms of using different perspectives to really be able to help everyone by showing them love in a cup of coffee, tea, or drinking chocolate.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, Colorado is known for their brewery scene, so I would want to take them to check out Factotum Brewhouse because they have one of the best patios in Denver. We would also want to check out some local hiking spots, and Red Rocks of course (with social distancing and probably not for a concert yet). Some of our favorite foodie places are all around the Denver area, so we would have to take them to Hops and Pie for amazing pizza, Silver Vines for wine, Roberta’s for their truffles, Kabob Station for their delicious hummus, D bar for desserts, so many fun places in Denver! I mean, you also have the gut bomb staple, Casa Bonita.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Elizabeth Boulos and the Denver Boss Babe Collective has been so supportive through the twists and turns of owning and starting a business. It is so refreshing to come across other women being supportive in a community that wants you to succeed!
