We had the good fortune of connecting with Lawn Lovers and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lawn, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Our thought process behind starting the company was to learn how to run and operate a profitable business on our own. We had the materials and knowledge attained from mowing our own lawn, so naturally we wanted this to be our business. This is a valuable life skill as we are earning money for college while learning how to be our own bosses.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are most proud of our quick growth throughout the last two years, we have recently added four new employees to our fleet and continue to serve the community around us at affordable prices. This has been a long journey and it still has a lot more mountains to be overcome.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would take them to a Colorado Avalanche game since they are our favorite sports team.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We have a specific person who has helped and advised us throughout this journey and his name is Russ Stallings aka “Big Russ.” He advises us weekly on how to treat customers, and the basics of running and maintaining a company.
