We had the good fortune of connecting with Leigh Romano and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leigh, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Balance is so important. You don’t always see that you are off balance. A lot of time it’s your family that notices. Then you have to make an effort and you notice when your in balance you have less stress because your making time for yourself and your family.
What should our readers know about your business?
Moved to Colorado about 7 years ago. Had a friend that was an esthetician and told me to go to school. Got out of school and grew my business through Groupon. It was grueling! Worked all the time and eventually didn’t need Groupon because I have kept my Groupons happy and they stayed with me. I only get my clientele through word of mouth as I’m on no social media. I think they would say my trait is h o the last client of the day no matter how tired I am. I cant lie to them as I hate when people lie to me and I don’t want them to waste their money if their not going to see results
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I personally love the mountains! That’s where I take them. Estes Park is great and love to explore the town and go to Rocky Mountain National Park. I’m sure when your a native it doesnt seem like much but when you can throw snowballs in July that is pretty amazing! The Elk are so majestic and tame! I’m from Wisconsin so when deer see you they run and we are not able to photograph them from the car. I also Love Garden of the Gods and my kids and nephew like the Mathews winters Park. When we finally reach the top we sit and eat our snacks and take it all in.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband and kids are the ones that deserve the shoutout. They are the ones that are there to pick me up when I am maxed out. They get my lovely mood swings. They are always there to offer a joke when I need it the most or most importantly a much needed hug
