We had the good fortune of connecting with Lisa Duran and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lisa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
As the owner of Savvy Sips mobile bar, my thought process behind starting my own business was driven by a passion for hospitality and a desire to bring a fun, unique and memorable experience to events. I wanted to create a business that not only provided high quality beverages but also added a special touch to any event, ensuring guests have an unforgettable time. The flexibility and creativity involved in running a mobile bar business were key motivators for me, as they allowed me to bring my vision to life and share my enthusiasm for exceptional service with others.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
With over 28 yrs in the medical profession, I am still dedicated to my career, but I have also pursued my passion for the event industry by starting this business. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see my dream come to life and aspire to transition to mobile bartending full time. Thus far I’ve learned the importance of preservation, creativity and prioritizing customer satisfaction. Each event that we do is an opportunity for me to exceed expectations and deliver exceptional service.
What sets Savvy Sips apart is our dedication to quality and professionalism, we are not just a horse trailer mobile bar; we’re committed to making every event fun and memorable. I am thrilled about the future of savvy sips and have many exciting new developments on the horizon. One of my biggest challenges is launching a new business while working full time in the medical field. I am always busy and my mind is always on the move with new ideas.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am a Colorado native and love my home state but I also have a passion for traveling. My husband and I enjoy the beach and tropical destinations. In Colorado one of my favorite things to do is exploring the nightlife, I love food and trying different restaurants and listening to live music. When family or friends visit from out of state I love taking them to the mountains of Colorado, Breckenridge is my favorite.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my husband Paul for believing in me and inspiring me every step of the way and to my mom, she’s my #1 supporter. I also want to recognize the incredible Savvy Sips team, our kids. Their outstanding support and dedication make all the difference, and I couldn’t do it without them
