We had the good fortune of connecting with Liz Zorn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Liz, what do you attribute your success to?
I would have to say that social media and networking in general is super important for my success. Networking and connecting, especially with the power of the Internet today, is how you meet new people and gain new opportunities that help you expand and grow!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
One thing that sets me apart from other models is that I am in charge of my own brand and networking. Essentially, I am my own manager. Due to my shorter height, I haven’t been able to sign with any big agencies. I’m still trying, but everything that I’ve accomplished has been thanks to my own hard work and effort. I have refused to give up even with agencies shutting me down. It hasn’t been easy at all, but I do believe with persistence and hard work you can achieve any dream. I have walked in NYFW, and I just recently started working with the company SHEIN – and I’m so excited!!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely take them to Red Rocks – it’s something everyone should visit at least once! I would take them to a town further into the mountains like Georgetown, Vail, etc. – somewhere where they can see the beauty of Colorado up close! I’d have them eat QDoba because duh – it’s QDoba and it’s delicious. I’d take them into the city of Denver for a day too, and wander the downtown area and try some new places to eat!!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The photographers based in and around Denver have helped me and my success so much. Anyone that was willing to help me get on my feet and get started by collaborating and working with me.
