We had the good fortune of connecting with Loktavious and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Loktavious, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
It’s about 1% performing and 99% everything as an independent musician.

Most folks think it’s all parties, girls and music but really it’s excel sheets, inventory counts, responding to emails, filling out paperwork, keeping track of what money goes where, booking events and delivering tickets-

But maybe that’s just me?

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Getting to where I am today has been quite the journey-

Not at all easy, but so so so rewarding.
In my music I have hemorrhaged funds learning how the local circuits worked, and have opened for underground and mainstream music legends. I’m in a band!

Always the onlooker saying “wouldn’t that be cool?” Inspired by the likes of Tool and System of a Down, my inner kid has his dreams of being a rockstar are one step closer to manifestation.

Also never thought I’d be a rapper of all things. Been told I’m not to shabby at that. Haha.

School life and professional life led to acquiring the knowledge to be useful off the stage, so helping others be successful in their crafts, on platforms like live shows or radio airplay, has become a real bonus.

Loktavious will help you
Loktavious will love you

For the love of music
And the love of humanity
