Meet Lorian DuCharme | Senior Real Estate Specialist/Realtor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lorian DuCharme and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lorian, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is ME! I am the drive, the ambition, and the creator of my own success. I am continually working on my brand, but authenticity has played the most important role in showing who I am and my true personality.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Senior Real Estate Specialist, Baby Boomer Boss, Listing Agent, Rockstar mom, I specialize in helping those 50 and older with their next moves in real estate, whether it be upsizing to accommodate for older parents, or down sizing for next nesting, or looking for vacation properties for their real estate portfolio, I am here to guide the way. I finally found my niche through working with people that really inspired a spark in me. It wasn’t easy, and I have other “buckets” of business that I am passionate about like my new @duckduckjeep_realtor fun idea, but ultimately I want to work with people who I know I can help in the biggest ways possible. I’ve also learned to have a red velvet rope policy, and really make sure that the people I work with are a good fit for me (and vice versa).
I want the world to know that I am passionate about my career. I love learning new things. And I am grateful for the opportunities to work with others in fulfilling their real estate needs.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of the most fun, interesting things to do in Colorado Springs are: -Go the the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo to feed the Giraffes.
-Visit Garden of the Gods and make sure you find balanced rock (and for sure check out the trading post gift shop).
-Schedule a Wolf Walk with Colorado Wolf Adventures.
-Take a drive out to Bishop’s Castle.
-Tea at the Miramount Castle
-Grab a bite to eat at The Viewhouse (for Pikes Peak Views), The Mate Factor in Manitou (for iced Mate teas and sandwiches), coffee from the Wild Goose Meeting House downtown, grab some Fargo’s pizza, and Burgers from the Skirted Heifer (they were on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives).

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am truly honored to work as a part of EXIT Realty Pikes Peak. I feel that my colleagues all play a part in my success and encouraging me to move forward in pursuit of my dreams. My friend Meagan Kroeze, who recently joined me at EXIT Realty in October, has played a major part in encouraging my growth. But perhaps one of the most important people, has been my coach Becky Clabaugh. She truly has helped me to reach and dig down deep and get laser focused on what I want out of my life and career. I would also be remiss if I didn’t mention Casey Knowles, I met him at a training he was doing creating a 90-day program for lenders and there has been tremendous growth for me through his knowledge and trainings.
