We had the good fortune of connecting with Lydia Pawlak and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lydia, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process of starting my own business was that I love doing photography and I love making other people happy and I wanted to help and be able to help capture those moments that people want you to take a picture of so then they can keep that memory forever

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
With my work I try to show people what I see , everyone sees things different and I want people to see what I see in life each photo I take tells a story even if it’s a photo of a family , friends , cars each individual photo tells a story and I want to be able to take photos to tell those story’s and help capture those special moments people want captures or those beautiful moments on what’s going on with nature . My brand Jewel Photography is a family friendly brand that wants to help capture those moments and story’s

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would first go up to Wyoming in Laramie to go see are friends up at WyoTec and hangout with them maybe go to the cowboy to go line and swing dancing and then we would all probably go to a bonfire and catch up with everyone. Usually when we hangout we just go day by day with are plans because it’s more adventurous that way and the memories are a lot better that way because it’s unexpected

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My dad , my mom, my Grandma and my Grandpa and my friends, they have all helped and supported me in my hopes and dreams they also have all helped pushed me into me wanting to reach my hopes and dreams I honestly don’t know what I would do without them
