We had the good fortune of connecting with Marta Padysz and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marta, what are you inspired by?
Living in four different countries has opened my eyes to various cultures and languages. However, what they all have in common is the uniqueness of nature, which has always fascinated me. Nature is a great source of inspiration and makes me feel alive. I love to explore new places, meet new people, and learn about their cultures.
Being in Colorado right now makes it easy to see the many color schemes inspired by this state’s natural beauty, including earthy tones, vibrant wildflowers, and serene mountain vistas.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My story is about a girl who grew up in the countryside and has always loved being surrounded by nature. She wanted to be an artist and express herself through images.
How does this relate to business?
Now, I know how difficult it is to go out into the big world with the fragility of a sensitive person. I know how much courage it costs to show my talents and the history of establishing my own company.
However, what has kept me going is an unwavering dedication to my craft and a deep-rooted belief in the power of art to transform and inspire. I’ve learned that resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to take risks are essential qualities for any artist. There have been times when I’ve had to reinvent my approach, experiment with new techniques, or simply push through creative blocks. But each challenge has ultimately strengthened my skills and broadened my artistic vision.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Hey there! If you’re up for a week-long trip, I’d definitely take you to the art museums and galleries around town. We could start with the art museum in the morning, have a nice lunch at a cozy café, visit a couple of smaller art galleries in the afternoon, and then enjoy a delicious dinner at a trendy restaurant. What do you think?
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The Artist Way – by Julia Cameron was life-changing It opened my eyes to the power of creativity and how it can help us heal. I had never thought about myself as an artist before, but this book made me realize that we are all artists in some way or another. The Artist Way is a 12-week program designed to help people reconnect with their creative selves by using various exercises and activities. It was written by Julia Cameron, who has been teaching this course for over 30 years.
