We had the good fortune of connecting with Martin Richter and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Martin, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I believe my passion for the outdoors , my loyalty to friends and family and products I use on a daily basis contribute greatly to my following audience . Staying true to the course of indulging in what nature has to offer and to learn something new on each trek into the field.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I would say, my dedication to learning all I can about the sport I’m involved with. Over the years of being in the field studying my craft, I have come in contact with a multitude of companies and individuals. Learning from everyone and keeping an open mind set. Even if you disagree with their perspective, it’s very important to attempt to view from every angle. I believe this helps in being a better decision maker, I consider myself extremely fortunate, being accepted by so many people in the sport, most definitely because of my insatiable appetite for learning all I can, and my willingness to share information and engaging in dialog and being invited to participate in forums and special group thinktanks, Over the years of being involved in these groups your credibility begins to morph and take on a reputation of stature , Most would agree that this process over time is a reward which is treasured . When you find yourself participating with Companys and individuals of high standards, Opinions and decisions seem to fall closely in line rather than far apart, Making for the most part harmonious engagement.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would first ask them, what they have in mind? If the ball is in my court?
I would make sure the accommodations are in order,
Before any traveling begins, I would make arrangements in advance for dinning.
The day would begin with a nature tour,
Early for starts, after they have experienced some of the local wildlife, we would proceed to a designated area.
This location would be outfitted with all the provisions needed for an enjoyable late afternoon experience.
as the evening concludes we would head back into town and prepare for an enjoyable dinner.
The following days would be along the same lines but in alternate locations.
During the week we would be invited to participate in some tours facilitated by a couple of company’s I’m sponsored by.
Giving a good understanding of the eagerness and willingness of support in our outings.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family and friends who have continued to support my interests and passion to this sport.
