We had the good fortune of connecting with Mckenzie Shepard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi McKenzie, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
There is so much that is misunderstood about the auto industry. That is why I am passionate about being an educator for my clients. The market is constantly changing and the average consumer is not up to date on current trends, available rates, incentives, and more. I am not a salesperson. I am an educator and an advocate for my clients.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As an Auto Broker, I am able to offer my clients a service that does not exist among standard dealerships. I have access to all makes and models, new and pre-owned. I can buy a car you are looking to sell, accept trade in vehicles, and offer leasing and financing at the best rates among a variety of different banks and credit unions. I can also offer company vehicles in a fleet, big or small. I am a one stop shop for anything car related. Plus, my services are typically always free!
My business is repeat and referral based and built off off quality relationships with my clients. What sets me apart from the rest? My honesty, knowledge on the industry, and determination to provide the best automotive buying experience.
My niche is working with women who would prefer to avoid the standard dealership experience. I save my clients time, money, and stress. And, I am passionate about helping women feel confident in their car buying decisions. I am by their side from start to end and remain a future resource for all things automotive.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
As a Colorado Native and current resident of Parker, CO, I have to give my Hometown a shoutout. There are so many great spots in Parker for food and entertainment. I frequent the Tailgate for breakfast, Fika coffee house for an afternoon pick me up, or Las Pontrancas for a weekend margarita.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout my dad, Morrie Shepard, who introduced me to the Auto Industry and recently retired. He trusted me to work alongside him and eventually take over his loyal clients, and I am forever grateful to him for this once in a lifetime opportunity. My dad is my hero. He believed in me when I did not believe in myself and gave me the courage and confidence to be successful in what can be a tough industry as a female. Thank you dad!
