We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Schirra and we’ve shared our conversation below.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is definitely more of a Mom & Pop organization… 3 employees and very family oriented. With that said, my dreams are to grow the business in the direction of multi coaching levels, courses and products. So, I have BIG DREAMS.

What sets me apart is my intuition & my warmth! I work off my gut…and my smile. I can read people and slice them
up pretty quick. I can access a lot of information from my clients in a short amount of time. I have to get to know them
so it is somewhat personal…and personal information is shared.

I am excited about launching my supplement brand as it has been a dream of mine to have my own compounded formulas. I have worked with so many people and products and I know what works… and I feel I can have a piece of that pie.

I have gotten to where I am today by being somewhat frugal and a saver. However, you have to be able to “let go” of any
issues you might have with money and being too frugal can get in your way…along with being too frivolous with money as well. It is a balancing act and can be challenging. I also have a mind that is always thinking about ways to improve, grow,
change and stand out…

But, It hasn’t been easy! I had a partner for many years and with that there are pro & cons. Many times we wanted a different direction for the business.

The biggest lesson I have learned along the way is…
TAKE EVERY OPPORTUNITY THAT COMES YOUR WAY & GRAB IT BY THE HAIR…DON’T LET IT PASS YOU BY.
I wish I had pushed more & taken more risks. That is the only way you learn & grow.

I want the world to know that I am not a quitter… I have survived tragedy & deep loss but I have persevered! It has been
brutal at times but there is always a silver lining in the end. My brand is about VICTORY…having peace within no matter what we go through!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well if we are talking about my city, Los Angeles… Of course I would be taking my friend to the best beaches in our area.

I would pick them up from the airport and drive to Santa Monica and hit The Lobster restaurant at the pier. The view of the ocean is amazing and the food is great. Then we would walk 3rd stress promenade and shop…maybe get a coffee or a cocktail depending on the mood & the time.

Next day, I would take. them to a play at the Pantages or a concert at the Hollywood Bowl…but before we would
eat dinner at Yamashiro Hollywood. Amazing view…! Next day, we would hike the Hollywood sign for some epic
photos! Then find a hot yoga class to go and sweat…maybe grab a smoothy after.

The next few days I would drive down to Orange County… Go to Hotels tonight & find a quaint boutique hotel in Laguna
Beach close enough to walk to the beach. We would spend the day boogie boarding on the waves, having some cocktails & then have some mexican food & margarita at Javiers while watching the sunset.
We must stay at least 2-3 nights at the beach. Get up every morning to get a workout in by walking the beach. Grab a coffee at the local coffee shop & maybe hit a few retails shops for swimsuits, hats, or cute outfits.

Of course this friend loves Disneyland (and so do I) so we left the beach and headed to Anaheim for some Micky
mouse fun! We spent the entire day at Disneyland… riding rides, watching some shows and eating all kinds of
goodies! We were exhausted so we slept in the next day!

We had breakfast and decided to hit another beach… Manhatten Beach. Very happening place! Then we drove to Hermosa and Huntington Beach! Spent a few days here and at the end of the trip, we sat down & voted on our best beach
day this week!

Fun times!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My Shoutout has to go to my SON… Easton Schirra. www.eastonschirra.com… An amazing artist, photographer, actor and the creative talent behind all his work.

He is a product of our family of entrepreneurs and has been the driving support behind my new online venture. His love, support & encouragement has been a game changer for me and I would not be where I am at today without him.

His work ethic is impeccable & his eye for creative art is inspiring…and his love for people is why so many are drawn
to him and his work!

Not only is he my son, he is my mentor in many ways and I believe I am his…
