We had the good fortune of connecting with Moon Lavender and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Moon, how do you think about risk?
Risks are part of the package when you decide to be an entrepreneur.
The work I do involves getting hands-on with the spiritual community. You spend lots of time, money, and effort on endeavors you’re not sure will have a payout! However, the reward isn’t always money; it’s in the heart. It’s the joy you feel when you take a risk and it goes well. When you see a smile on your client’s face when they have a breakthrough. When you trust the universe to provide your paycheck or fund a trip.
Every time you show up for your clients you show up for YOU.
Risks are a part of everyday life as your own boss. It’s fun though! That’s part of life! Let’s see what happens when I let go and make an offering. Spoiler alert–it’s almost always well received.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work is very deep, spiritual, and personal. I use sound healing tools and educate others on metaphysics. I also incorporate shamanic journey work practices, conduct readings, and am a certified yoga instructor.
I am versatile really! To say I focus on one thing would be limiting my skills and abilities. However, everything I do is based in love and the Universal Source.
I was called to this work in 2008 and knew I needed to do something with my skills and abilities. In the past 10 years, I have traveled around the U.S. extensively. All through the guidance of Spirit.
Getting to where I’m at today has not been easy. There were many challenges, health issues, and setbacks. When I look back on everything all those challenges helped me grow on such a deep level.
As of late, I can confidently say I stepped up my leadership skills and offered even more of myself to the community.
This was after a hard lesson in coming back to myself through self-care!
My services are alchemical; transforming one energetic into another. I hold space for clients to express their needs, open their hearts, close old stories, or simply allow them to speak their truth.
I aid those in finding their voice so that they can come back to their highest potential.
Honestly, I’m just like you. A human being healing right alongside you.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I reside in Hawaii and was visiting Denver, Colorado for the first time!
There were so many amazing wonders to see! I would definitely recommend getting out on the land. Take a trip to the Rocky National Park or the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Connecting with nature is so refreshing and spiritual!
Art museums help me center and ground just as nature does. I highly recommend the Denver Art Museum as well as the Museum of Nature and Science.
I’m a huge fan of Voodoo Doughnuts! If you’re looking for a sweet snack!
I will definitely be making another trip back to Colorado! I want to see the rest of it!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
100%! Lee Harris is my mentor and soul family! I felt it when first started watching his energy updates on Youtube.
He is a channeler, intuitive, and musician. I met him in Portland, OR a few years ago and his work and classes have changed my life!! He is a big reason why I was able to step out of my comfort zone and charge the most I ever have for one of my courses! I spent the last two years deeply invested in his workshops and music. To say he has helped me expand in all levels of my life is an understatement!
His website is leeharrisenergy.com if you want to connect with his work and channeled messages.
