We had the good fortune of connecting with Morganne Lavigne and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Morganne, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
My end goal with MorganneRach.com, my fashion blog would to be to reach more women in an impactful way. I would love for my simple, everyday fashion posts to inspire women to go out and take on the world weather that be fashionably or to be ambitious with starting a blog, although there may be risk factors involved. When I started my fashion and lifestyle blog back in 2016 I was so nervous to put myself out there, but I have found that it is so freeing to express yourself trough your passions and I encourage others to do so. Professionally, I would love to start my own boutique one day to extend the message behind what I do. That has always been the end goal in my head to one day build my own empire and keep inspiring women and men to be confident in who they are, I would love to be financially stable doing what I love and inspiring others through fashion.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Blogging is absolutely not as easy as it looks. I have learned that through many trials over the past five years I have been apart of this world. I would in everyway consider blogging an art, because it is a way of expressing yourself though fashion and writing. My focus through my blog is inspiring others to do just that, express themselves through fashion. In the blogging world it can be both easy at times and difficult at times to be set apart from others in the blogging world by creating your own looks, trends and brand. The difficulties can appear due to overlap or over saturation within a trend or style. I don’t always see it as a challenge though rather than looking to support, I love seeing other people aspire to express themselves in anyway, so when I see others in my community or my age doing what I am doing, I love to support in anyway I can, rather than see it as a threat, which is what can happen often times within the creative art space. I am most proud of myself for keeping up and staying consistent on my blogging journey. When I set out to start my own brand, and blog I had one mission and that was to inspire others. Of course, collaborating with dream brands and being creative in that sense has been something I am very proud of. Continuing to inspire others has been my proudest accomplishment. By staying true to myself and always pushing though even when blogging gets exhausting, discouraging and or expensive, always finding ways to push though and stay true to myself has allowing me to get to where I am today professionally. Lessons, I have learned along the way, have been to always stay true to yourself and your passions no matter who or what discourages you or points fingers because trust me, it happens. Always staying honest and true to yourself while trying to obtain an audiences attention is not always easy but truly rewarding and that is what I want the world to know about my brand and story. Don’t give up on yourself or your dreams. Start somewhere and trust your creative energy.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting Denver for a week, to show them the best time ever I would take them first and foremost to the mountains. It would be a tough decision between Vail, Aspen, Breckinridge or Grand Lake just because those are a few of my favorites. Let’s say we decided on Breckinridge, our first stop would be “Grand Colorado on Peak 8” just because it is absolutely magic. I would treat him/her to a routine spa and a trip up the mountain to ski or snowboard! That’s what everyone wants to do when they visit the Rocky Mountains right? Next, I would naturally treat my bestie to a shopping trip in Cherry Creek Shopping center, because it is my absolute favorite! Lunch would be at my favorite spot in Cherry Creek, “North Italia” to treat him/her to some delicious Italian food. my favorite is the “Strozzapreti” dish, so YUM. Next, I would have to treat them to a trip to the Denver Milk Market and stop at my favorite “Morning Jones.” their pastries are the best! Of course, I am a coffee fen so I would love to treat my bestie to one of my favorite coffee shops on Tennyson street, “Allegro Coffee Roasters.” Next take a shopping break at my all time favorite fashion boutique, “Inspyre Boutique.” I would also love to take my bestie to Comedy works in the Tech Center, Centennial and finish off our trip with a glass of wine at, “Ocean Prime” because we both LOVE seafood!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I love this series! Although, I have had many influences who have shape and molded the asperations and motivation behind my blog I would love to recognize the LIKEtoKNOW.it group. If you are unfamiliar the LIKEtoKNOW.it group and app is an easy way for bloggers to promote their looks so their audience can have easy to shop access. But since day one, or I should say even before I started to blog, the LIKEtoKNOW.it and rewardstyle organization has inspired me in many ways and has always been more than just a way to benefit and make profit. The rewardstyle team has allowed me to obtain knowledge about the fashion and blogger world, that I didn’t even know existed. I have gained so much knowledge, and inspiration from others and truly have grown as a blogger by taking advantage of all the perks of being a LIKEtoKNOW.it member and everything this organization has allowed me.
