Meet Multi-Award Winning Owen Hisle of Hisle Films

We had the good fortune of connecting with Owen Hisle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Owen, what are you inspired by?
It’s not so much as “what I’m inspired by” but who I’m inspired by. I have always been inspired by my late mother (Mom) Francis Catherine Gallicchio. My Mom was my best friend. She always encouraged me to pursue all my creative, artistic gifts. I got my artistic creative gifts from my Mom because she too was very gifted at singing however, my number 1 inspiration is my Lord and Savior, Jesus – The Bible teaches that God gives gifts to people to serve others and give glory to God. 1 Peter 4:10 says, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace”. My prayer is that Hisle Films movies will inspire others with the entertainment factor as well as share the true Gospel message of Jesus

As I mentioned in the interview of another magazine, I’m not the type who likes to type anything lengthy. I’d prefer to get straight to the point. Less is more, right? I first knew I wanted to pursue a professional path as a Christian / Secular Family Friendly – Actor, Movie Producer, Director & Voiceover artist back in 2001

I started out as an Actor in 2001 when it all began

I changed over to a Movie Producer & Director in 2012

I also became a Voiceover artist in 2014

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It’s funny because I always tell everyone that “I’m pretty boring” lol lol lol, when it comes to getting out and doing things. I’m 75% introvert and 25% extrovert – when I’m not busy hanging out with my wife, making movies, providing voiceovers for movies, painting beautiful watercolor landscapes, being involved in my home church and all the other churches I’m involved with, you’ll find me watching tons of movies all day long.
