We had the good fortune of connecting with NADINE PARK and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi NADINE, what do you want people to remember about you?
I want to leave a legacy as a female chef in the culinary industry by sharing my passion of cooking, recipes and passing down my skills to others. I want to empower other women and girls to follow their passions, not perfection and to be fearless. Women should know that you don’t have to prove that you can do it all but we can balance life between work and home. Investing time in empowering women unlocks a flood of potential for the whole world.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When I started this new journey in 2019, I was working full time in the restaurant management industry, had multiple side jobs as single mother in Seattle. I knew I wanted to leave a legacy for my daughter one day that tied into my passion of cooking. Since I was a child I started cooking and baking, then I started writing down recipes and making content on social media. This has been a very difficult journey of balancing a time and skill consuming profession, while being a mother and getting my business off the ground. The most difficult decision was to quit my full-time career and pursue my business full-time without knowing the outcome.
Fast forward to today, I solely focus on my business as a personal chef, cater, and provide meal prep services. I have more time with my family and I love what I do. I want to continue on building a brand that inspires women and girls to follow their passions.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Seattle features many great restaurants and places to visit! Pike Place Market is always an adventure of Seattle. Just a few of my favorite restaurants in the city are Carmelo’s Tacos, Ayutthaya Thai Restaurant, Ba Bar, Pho Bac, Cookies Country Chicken, Musang, Cafe Flora, Coffeeholic and so many more!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My family, they fuel my passion to keep going through my low and high points of my personal and professional life. I couldn’t thank them enough for the support, time and dedication they put in to my business.
