Meet Natalie Maruschak And Riley Schneider

We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalie Maruschak And Riley Schneider and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalie Maruschak and Riley Schneider, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I (Natalie) had always dreamed of starting my own business and getting to run events on my own, but after I stepped away from the event industry to move into non-profit work, I shelved that dream and figured I would pick it back up decades down the line, if ever. I coordinated a couple of events for family and friends and guests at the events enjoyed my work and approached me to ask if I would coordinate their events. The catch was the venue they had booked required the coordinator/planner to be officially licensed as a company. I was going to say no! But Riley and I talked and prayed about it and decided we should make that leap and launch our own business together – so we did! Riley served in the Army for several years and is now obtaining his degree in Business Management, so he runs the business side of things and I get to focus on all things events and clients!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
We are a soon-to-be husband-and-wife team! We specialize in wedding planning and coordinating, and are in the process of going through our own wedding planning season. So who better to entrust your special day with than a couple who understands the stress and pressure, and wants to bring your vision to life!
While some wedding planners may be focused all on details and timelines, we want to also prioritize forming close relationships with our clients. We genuinely enjoy the process of taking a couple from start to finish in the planning process, and we believe they should enjoy it too! Any event can be stressful to plan, but weddings can be notoriously pressuring, so we desire to be a safe space for our clients – no judgement and no unsolicited opinions. We are their trusted advisors and support system to bear that burden of stress for them.
We’ve had the privilege of working with truly amazing couples, and can’t wait to meet who else comes our way!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Evergreen! Hands down our favorite spot in all of Colorado! Natalie first visited Evergreen on a trip to Colorado more than 6 years ago – and fell in love with its Hallmark like charm. When she moved to Denver in 2022, she frequently visited Evergreen Lake and Muddy Buck, the cutest little coffee shop, on her days off of work. We met in late 2023 and visited Evergreen in the snow and first said “I love you” there and frequently visited the town for day trips to escape the real world. Then in March of 2025, Riley proposed right in front of the lake! It’s a charming and quaint little piece of Colorado history that also holds deep meaning to us.
We also enjoy the Denver Zoo (especially at Christmas time!), City Park, going to sporting events, and paddle boarding at Chatfield State Park!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There is absolutely no way we would have gotten to where we are today without Jesus Christ. He’s the Lord over our lives, and He has rescued each of us from some pretty awful situations – and we’re still standing today because of Him! There’s not been one business decision we’ve made without prayer and even when we take leaps, we’ve seen His favor and blessing follow.
We also could not have done this without our families’ encouragement and support. They’ve had our backs each step of the way and their excitement for us is contagious! We’re so grateful for them.
