We had the good fortune of connecting with Nate Nadeau and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nate, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I love this question! Honestly, I believe the most important factor behind my success is my desire to truly connect deeply and genuinely serve my client. The most frequent that comes up in my head is “how can i provide more value or make this more valuable to them”.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
When I look back on my photography journey it blows my mind! First off, the thing I’m most excited about is how far I’ve come and also the realization that there is SO MUCH MORE to come. I believe what sets me apart from others is my ability to infuse the intention behind the content with my clients most authentic self. My goal is to capture images that really shows off my clients genuine personality. As far as how I’ve gotten to where I am, that’s all due to an amazing network of brilliant friends. Having social proof and others to vouch for your work and who you are as a person is by far the biggest catapult in business I’ve experienced. Honestly, it hasn’t been easy, but it hasn’t been hard either. I am grateful and privileged photography has never been the foundation of my financial wealth which takes all the pressure off the business. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is EASY! Understanding, knowing, and valuing my worth and what I offer. If there is one thing I’d love people to know about me and my brand is that working with me is honestly just a fun hangout session. It’s always a great time, and I we will continue to have a great time until we are both satisfied everything we desired to capture has been captured.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Actually, I just moved to Denver back in November so I’m not acquainted with the city and things to do yet. There are a few places I would absolutely take my best friend though. One being Archipelago, the cold plunge, sauna, open work space, hangout areas, and incredible people in this community have made my move here so seamless. Next, I’d take them to Summermoon coffee. Moving here from Austin, Tx Summermoon was a fav place of mine to frequent. The coffee is legitimately amazing and the staff actually wants to connect with you. If I was going to take my best friend one more place it would have to be Toca indoor soccer complex. I’m a massive soccer player so I’d naturally want to get on the field with my best friends and honestly Toca’s facility Is brilliant!!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
James Young. He has been INFLUENTIAL in my photography career. He has mentored me so much and is a great friend. James invited me out to be a behind the scenes/second shooter for his photoshoots and helped guide me on my path. I owe a lot of my learning to him 100%.

Another person id love to shoutout is Ben Holt. I received my breathwork certification from him and is a very close friend. He is constantly there to lend advice and guidance. Ben had ENDLESS knowledge on breath, business, and how to create a bigger impact for those in your life.
