We had the good fortune of connecting with Noe Magdaleno and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Noe, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The process behind developing UNDRGRND Golf was a gradual evolution over a couple of years and was sparked by our 3 founders becoming golf buddies during the pandemic. Some of us were new to the sport while one of us had been playing our whole life. We wanted to create a concept that not only expressed our unique fashion senses, but represented our community and made the game more relatable worldwide.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We firmly believe a variety of factors distinguish us as a brand beginning with our commitment to our community and evolving the game of golf within it. As previously mentioned, we want to represent a diverse culture within the sport that was once not seen and make the game more relatable at the youth level and above. In addition, our unique design and aesthetic as a “Golf Brand”. Street culture runs through our DNA and is a prevalent aesthetic in our products and image. We like to look at UNDRGRND GOLF as a community, not just a brand. We aim to expand our footprint and impact beyond just Colorado.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We definitely love to show people our city especially those not familiar with Denver. Of course Golf is an absolute must in this itinerary! We’re playing at Arrowhead, Bear Dance and City Park to get a true glimpse of Colorado’s best. Golf aside, we’re hitting a Denver staple in Snooze for their excellent drinks, food and vibes. We’re also going to hit some of the best streetwear shops and steakhouses exclusive to Denver. DVSN West, BAIT, Quality Italian, Blue Pan Pizza and Kike’s Red Tacos come to mind (yes, lbs will be gained on this trip). And what’s a Colorado trip without some fun in the mountains? There’s options here from Aspen, to Granby to Blackhawk, etc. Sound specific? Yeah we’ve hosted a few peeps over the years lol.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Undoubtedly the first shout out belongs to our families and colleagues that have been day one supporters as we started creating the concept of UNDRGRND GOLF. From feedback, to support and word of mouth we’ve had an incredible support system to help us get started.
