We had the good fortune of connecting with Pamela Stanley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pamela, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The quality of services I provide.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
In October 2022 I started my own LLC: The Strategic Interventionist for Coaching, Counseling and Consulting (thestrategicinterventionist.org). What sets me apart from others is my unique combination of my healthcare administrative and clinical background. After working in healthcare in large integrated delivery systems, I decided to get my master’s degree in counseling to “give it a try.” After trying this profession, I realized that while I worked hard as a clinician of behavioral health services it never seemed like work. In this work, I am in “flow” and thoroughly enjoy helping others reach their goals. I believe it is my truest calling!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Most definitely I would take my friends to Santa Fe and hiking in the Sandia mountains and to Bear Canyon. A must would be taking the Tram to the top of our Sandia Mountain and for dinner at Ten Three. I would also take them to Old Town and for dinner at Antiquity, and to Level5 at Hotel Chaco. I would take them to the NM symphony, to the NM museum of history in Santa Fe and museum hill. I would take them to the Albuquerque zoo and to the aquarium.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have several mentors who I would like to give a shoutout to, and for which I recognize in my interview with Angelica Maestas, the sponsor of “She’s Ambitious AF” on Spotify (https://open.spotify.com/episode/5Zc6wrgSskVhlTFmYgPlyL?si=qd71VNXeSR2vMynz6l3Jfw). I am forever grateful to Branis Pesich, RN my first professional job boss, Professor Larry Radine of the University of Michigan, Tina Carlson, CNP my clinical mentor and to Quinn Lopez, JD who was my most recent mentor. And of course, my mother and father!
