We had the good fortune of connecting with Patience Krupinski and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patience, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted my work to be a reflection of myself and to allow me to be of service to others. I have and continue to work tremendously hard to heal and pull myself out of chronic illness, ptsd, anxiety and depression. Most of us that live with chronic illness have been lost trying to find answers in western medicine, and don’t even know where to start. Our society does not focus on emotional wellness, or treating the root cause of illness. I have watched myself and so many other women hide their pain, be told there is nothing wrong with them and be made to think they are crazy. Worst of all, to accept that illness is something that we MUST endure. My thoughts on starting this business were based on being able to take the wisdom I have found in my own healing journey, and share it with other women who need to heal. Starting this business has also been an extension of my own healing journey because I create my work life. I am able to give myself what I need personally and also avoid overwhelming myself like I used to in my desk job. I started this business to help change the lives of women who are hurting, and therefore help change the world. I believe that in healing ourselves we can connect to the divine, and help to heal the generations that will follow us. A healing woman helps heal the women around her, and the children that may come from her.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an intuitive health and wellness coach. I help women who experience chronic illness, anxiety and depression as a result of experiencing trauma and storing it in their bodies, to heal themselves. What makes me the most different from other health and wellness coaches is my intuition. During sessions with my clients I read their energy, and do intuitive readings to help pick up on things that they need to heal. Sometimes when we store trauma in our bodies our brains bury certain memories to protect us, this can cause our inner child to feel the pain and be triggered without us understanding why. So I help to guide my clients to repair the relationship with their inner child, and reparent them so they can get in touch with their truest desires and how to care for themselves. I am very excited about my Guide to Living Intuitively program, which is a 3 month program for clients who are looking to heal and get in touch with their intuition. This program helps them to live a life that is in line with their highest good. It has not been easy getting to where I am now. Like I mentioned before, starting this business has been an extension of my own healing process. I have taken many different paths searching for the right one, I started college in a pre-nursing program, dropped out and got my certification in culinary arts, began working in a home sales job and even got certified in plant based nutrition. It wasn’t until I truly began to heal myself that I saw that this coaching business is the right path for me. I have healed myself from fibromyalgia, and continue to heal myself from POTS and PTSD. I have learned that caring for ourselves is the most important thing that we can do, because it allows us to be better humans and to better care for others around us. I have also learned that when we live a life that is in alignment with our highest good, we are rewarded. I want the world to know that we are meant to live healthy and happy lives, even those of us who experienced trauma throughout our lives. I survived illness, emotional and physical abuse, sexual assault, and used to feel immensely alone and lost. Healing is so very possible, and it’s okay to accept help from others. Healing is our birthright, and Divine Health Coaching is all about taking back our health.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Oh boy, Colorado is exceptionally beautiful. I would take them on gorgeous hikes near Denver: Red Rocks, Three Sisters-Alderfer, Chataqua, Pine Valley Ranch Park, Garden of the Gods. I would take them to my favorite restaurants and food trucks to eat: Watercourse Foods, City O City, WongWayVeg, Vegan Van, The Corner Beet and Garlic Knot Pizza. I would take them to hang out at the Tattered Cover Bookstore, Downtown Littleton, 1UP, Pearl Street Mall, ride bikes along the Platte River Trail, book a night at Upstairs Circus. The other thing I absolutely love to do is check out metaphysical stores, so I’d take them to SpiritWays, Alchemy Ritual Goods, Herbs & Arts and Arcana Herbal. There is no lack of great things to do here in Denver.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely, I have made it this far thanks to the support I have been given along the way. The first person I’d like to thank is my fiancée, Robert, he is my number one supporter always. I also have two coaches I’d like to thank, Danielle Tilotta and Willo Sana, these women have helped me to make serious transformations in my life when it comes to my health, my psychic abilities and all things business. I’d also like to thank my counselor as she has been a huge piece of my personal healing. I am beyond grateful for all of these people. Healing and starting a business are both like raising a child, they say it takes a village and they are so right.
