We had the good fortune of connecting with Randi Paulin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Randi, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
We wanted to be able to have the flexibility and creative process to do what we wanted and not have anyone else making decisions for us. We both love the mobile food industry and making people happy with good food and good customer service. We also wanted to show our kids that anything is possible!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I own Bandwagon Sandwich Co. We are an open air food trailer built to look like a stage. We are all music themed and focused on making classic hot deli sandwiches with an elevated twist.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would for sure eat at Mi Tierra Caliente in Arvada , they are a Mexican restaurant and I have never been disappointed by there food. For music I would for sure take them for a free show at Levitt Pavillion and hope that my food truck Bandwagon Sandwich Co would be there for food! The beer scene is huge and my business gets to be at the best we would for sure hit up Station 26, 4 Noses or New Terrain for a great craft beer!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I think my husband Jerry Cass deserves the shout out. He had the vision of bringing something new to the food scene in Denver. He wanted to create a business that not only recognizes music but also bring amazing sandwiches to the streets of Denver. His drive and countless time he put into creating Bandwagon Sandwich Co to make it a success is aw inspiring!
