We had the good fortune of connecting with Randy Mickulesku and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Randy, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind Mod Body Arts success is our accessibility to all. We provide a welcoming environment for anybody wanting to modify their bodies. Many of the past body art shops I have worked at have been unwelcoming and aesthetically loud and aggressive, which to me is the opposite of what a client wants.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
When we opened Mod, we wanted to be very accessible online, as many shops make it hard to get in without back and forth emails and questions. Our booking system is easy and quick.
We welcome all walks of life at Mod free of judgment and make sure to provide a 5 star experience to everyone we serve.
I have three children so providing a safe alternative for children’s first piercings is also very important to us. We offer a friendly environment for families, as well as the safest possible piercing experience.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
A few of my favorite spots in Denver are:
Ball Arena. Go AVS
Rush Bowls for the best smoothies.
Meta Burger for great vegan junk food.
Metalmark Fine Jewelry for great gifts.
Simply Pure Dispensary for getting your mind right.
Method Coffee Roasters for keeping me awake.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My success is a direct result of my clients trust. There are many places to get pierced in Denver, we have been overwhelmed at the response to our unique business model.
Hearing from clients that they just had the best piercing experience is always the best motivation to keep it up and keep raising the bar in the body piercing indusrty.
